The Democratic Party seems to be getting more and more divided by the day. House Democrats were celebrating the passage of a new gun control bill, however Republicans attached an amendment to the bill and gained 26 Democrat votes in the House which gave them a 220-206 win on the bill.
The House voted Wednesday on H.R. 8, the Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2019. The bill would expand background checks to include all gun sales, rather than just sales by licensed gun dealers as under current law.
Republicans in the minority countered with an amendment to require that federal officials notify Immigration and Customs Enforcement whenever a lawful or unlawful immigrant tried to illegally purchase a firearm. That measure, opposed by most Democrats, was voted down when the bill was still in the House Judiciary Committee.

This time. We’ll see if Pelosi’s threats or AOC’s list prevent Dems from straying off the reservation on future votes.
Of course this should not even be the subject of legislation.
Why are the American people always at war with the politicians and their operatives in the democrat party?
In a just system they would be arrested, found guilty of at least sedition, have their citizenship revoked, spend 5-10 in prison, then deported to whatever communist or Islamic country would take them.
According to the Constitution it has always been the law of the land.
Once again the Democrats show their status as 5th Columnists, who are opposed not just to the Constitution (as they’ve been since FDR at a minimum) but also to the sovereignty and survival of the nation, a peculiarity to the McGovernites and worse who’ve run the functions of party — or the Party as more honest communist might call it — since the 1970s and who have since gone on to more recently purge themselves of the likes of Zell Millers.
How long will this last though?
“According to the Constitution” are four words so-called “progressives” have no interest in.
Thankfully, Obamas didn’t get his private army. Sadly he still managed to get many bad actors into places of influence as well a import large numbers of future domestic enemies.

It’s getting done at the state level with Oklahoma and Kentucky joining the fraternity in the last week. South Dakota also joined in earlier in February. The state count is 16 and may go up more as other states have proposals working in their legislatures.

And I think these 15/16 States could Force the issue if they unilaterally decided that ANY State that does not accept their CCW Permits shall NOT have Any License or Permit recognized in their State. Start ARRESTING and Prosecuting everyone from NY and California if they dare drive in your State, FORCE a Constitutional Crisis.
How is this a victory?
