Dear San Franciscan,
This week, the House of Representatives voted on two long-overdue bills to end the daily horror of gun violence in America. Earlier this week, we proudly passed H.R. 8, which expands background checks to all gun sales to make them universal, and H.R. 1112, which addresses the Charleston Loophole that previously allowed gun dealers to sell a firearm to dangerous individuals if the FBI background check had not been completed within three business days. These bipartisan, commonsense bills respect the will of the American people 97 percent of whom support universal background checks, including 97 percent of gun owners.

WOW! Even 97% of gun owners support this. Coulda fooled me. And 47 kids per day. Seems like there are only a couple words in the entire news letter that have any truth to them at all. Like "the", "and" and "America".

Great. So tell us, Nancy from Italy: how would this have stopped the illegal from using the stolen gun to shoot Kate Steinle, whom you seem to have completely forgotten ever existed?
She was in your district when she was shot, just like the Bologna family.

It's gun registration and harassment. The only purpose is to make a comprehensive list of guns and owners in preparation for confiscation. A waiting period imposed on a party who already owns guns is simple harassment.

Most nefarious uses of guns would not be stopped, but it’s the old “if only one child” argument which leads to a mess of impractical regulations that do worse than no regulations at all.
I’d call the result of this putting more heartbreak into action.

Let me guess....a local poll.
15 states who passed constitutional
carry, comprise 3% of the of the
US population? Total and major BS.
