“For example, their “open borders” policy is effectively importing a new electorate — one guaranteed to vote for them. “

The Republican Party has been doing all that they can to help the Left with this since forever.

The disastrous 1965 Hart-Celler immigration act started the fire.

The 1986 Simpson-Mazzoli amnesty threw gasoline on it.

Both passed because Republicans voted for them.

And you’ve never seen the GOP establishment do anything to reverse this.

In fact they are fighting Trump at every step of the way just to build the wall, which itself does nothing to stop the legal 3rd world immigration tsunami that is permanently altering America.

California is every state’s future. Get used to “We Are The World” and the English language being optional.

Stock it deep and make sure it is spread out if you can.

“No sane person WANTS violence & war.”

There isn’t going to be any war.

Mass immigration will just keep diluting the historic American people into a weak and meaningless minority like has been done in California.

You didn’t see any violence here. Well actually you have, but it’s only been violent La Raza attacks on immigration control rallies.

The old America has both business and the political parties working against them. Both use surveys to predict what group to pitch their support to, and it isn’t you.

Depends on the violence. As in the Declaration of Independence, when they start killing us, a significant portion of the people will ignite.

“The demise of the Republic (if it has not already happened) very well may be by the influx of illegals converting themselves into votes and so it may be death by ballot and not bullet.”

Not to pick on you, but it’s not illegal aliens who have transformed California.

They certainly are a major problem, but they vote in small numbers.

California’s politics were transformed by legal immigrants from the 3rd world, who do vote in huge numbers, and who vote to the left of Americans.

It’s a cultural thing, it isn’t dependent upon their financial or educational success.

Trump officials should develop a test for “conservative” leanings in illegal immigrants.

Strong religious beliefs, especially anti-abortion.
Strong independent streak: want to start own business.
Strong anti-socialist views: wants Gov’t off their backs.

Etc.

Then allow those tests to be leaked, AND speed up judge hearings of those without those views.

I agree. The most likely scenario here in the States would be something similiar to the Spanish Civil War. The Republicans would be the Nationalists. I can see most of the military, ICE, Border Patrol and the like on the side of the Republicans. Most of rural America would support the Republicans. For the Democrats, they would be the Loyalists. You would have FBI, many elements of the “Deep State”, inner city gangsters and the like on the side of the Democrats. The conflict would be bloody.

It began in 1965, one hundred years after the first Civil War ended, when Lyndon Johnson announced his Great Society plan.

Saw a great idea about actually testing one’s ability to go for a period time using just what you have on hand, like for 30 days. This provides real experience, shows where changes need to be made, etc.

(D)’s just think that making a law - printed words on paper - Americans will comply with and turn in their guns? Seriously?

The confiscations have already begun. They’re doing it very slowly, on an isolated basis. So there is no organized resistance.

Which Democrat politician lives like a socialist?

I don’t care what they say.

Which Democrat politician lives like a socialist?

“Depends on the violence. As in the Declaration of Independence, when they start killing us, a significant portion of the people will ignite.”

Hardly a similar situation. There’s no killing involved when America enables conquest by visa and chain migration.

We have been doing a slower version of Europe’s suicide by migration.

And since it destroyed California first no one outside of this state did anything to stop it.

California was lost without a shot being fired. This is now a one party state where the general election often has no Republican listed on the ballot.

The poor are the most likely to be obese, and are the most entertained poor people ever. It’s hard for me to imagine sustained and widespread unrest while these conditions persist.

I feel the same way about them - but I don’t think I deserve “demi god”.

America can not exist when a huge percentage of those here want to destroy it and enact another foreign form of government..

We exist fine with America. We are Americans. They are not. They need to go.

“Trump officials should develop a test for “conservative” leanings in illegal immigrants.”

Not to be unkind but that is utter nonsense.

Illegals are experts at gaming our systems and the word would be out on this “test” within hours. Everyone coming over the border would know the proper answers by Day 2.

And secondly you all need to understand that it is legal immigration that has overwhelmed and transformed California. It is legal immigrants who can and do take advantage of chain migration.

Putting a stop to further illegal immigration and deporting those already here is a necessary step if anyone is interested in returning California to something resembling America, but it does nothing to address the driving force of demographic transformation that is legal immigration.

There’s not a single Republican who will even discuss it. Viva cowardice.

Come on, sport.

Give it a try.

Who are the Democrat candidates?

Then.....

Which of them lives the socialist lifestyle?
