Its funny, I used to read Goldberg a lot during the Clinton and GW years. Since Trump he has become unreadable.
His venture is doomed to fail. He will have to have some billionaire paying the bills and when that ends, it will disappear.
Goldberg, who calls himself a “Never Trumper,” says “Trumpism” isn’t based in ideology as much as it is a “psychological phenomenon.”
“I don’t think I should change my positions about all sorts of things just because (Trump’s) a Republican,” Goldberg told CNN’s David Axelrod on “The Axe Files” podcast in Oct. 2018.
“What bothers me, and what I think is so corrupting of conservatism and of the Republican Party, is that we are hardwired evolutionarily to resist the idea that our leaders are bad people.”

I’ve heard Leftists say the same thing about Conservatism in general. It’s amazing how the whole Trump-phenomenon has stripped away the illusion that these people truly care about ALL their countrymen instead of just the ones linked to the Chamber of Commerce.

But mainly Jonah just can’t overcome the fact that Trump is boorish (or has a boorish public persona, per other posters here).
Well, Churchill was a nasty drunk. But that doesn’t mean Churchill wasn’t the best Prime Minister that England ever had.
Goldberg and Hayes must be pushed to disclose who the funders of this propaganda effort are, so that everyone knows whose mouthpiece they are and whose agenda they serve.
But we all know the interests that would fund such an effort are not conservative and do not care the slightest for the interests of the American people, so be assured Goldberg and Hayes will never tell us who is paying or they will simply lie about it.
To be a NeverTrumper is to believe that Trump will eventually mess up. If you are a NeverTrumper you believe that. If you don't believe that, you probably aren't a NeverTrumper. They want to be there when it happens and move in to take over what's left. So they aren't thinking of themselves as the same old status quo.
It will never get off the ground.
Just imagine if Lucianne Goldberg hadn’t used her connections to get tubby little Jonah the National Review gig- what would Boy Jonah have ended up doing for a living?
