To be perfectly blunt about it, I myself am aligned with the vast majority of Americans who flatly disagree with the religious fanatic position that all abortions ought to be outlawed. I won't even bother to list the many hard reasons why this position matters, such as not purposefully engaging in the evil of forcibly penalizing victims of violent rape or saving the life of a woman who is in serious physical peril of dying or lifelong, agonizing disability.

Nonetheless, the unspeakable official policies of the pro-abortion — not "pro-choice" but pro-abortion, pro-murder — cabal in New York State and elsewhere is disgusting, appalling, and ... dare I say it ... dripping with evil. I can hardly credit that on the national stage, they've actually gone so far as to reject strong federal protection of already-born babies. Are these people for real? :^(

The bright side of this brazen eruption of far-left extremism is that it'll only lead to widening revulsion in the polity against the entire concept of abortion, even early-stage abortions. The whole subject of abortion frankly tires me out, so I'll stop now.

It's my contention that you can't be a Democrat if you are Christian. If you are, you are either delusional or greatly deceived. Anyone with discernment would run away from the Democrat party.
