(Washington, DC)—[CBN News] Ripples of shock are rolling through the ranks of pro-life Congress members after Democrats blocked a US Senate bill that would have ensured medical care for children born alive after an attempted abortion. "I never could have in my wildest, worst nightmare dreamed that I would have had to come up here one day and fight harder to protect newborn babies than I did as a physician," Kansas Republican Roger Marshall told a news conference held just outside the Capitol building.
On Monday, the Senate failed to pass the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. It needed 60 votes to advance through the legislative process but failed by seven votes as the final tally came to 53-44. All 44 "no" votes came from Democrats. Three of their number crossed over to vote with the Republicans.

Here’s what insane about this whole situation: we don’t need a law to prevent infanticide. An infant is a human being. Even the abortionists won’t deny that. Killing a human being is considered to be murder. Murder is against the law in all the states. Therefore, if an infant is killed a murder has been committed. Having said that, those opposed to the infanticide bill are pathetic POS.
I think this is a very deep spiritual issue

The House of Representatives was never going to even take up a vote on this bill.
If the GOP really gave a sh!t about infanticide, they would have passed this bill in 2017 or 2018 when they still controlled the House.

No argument there, no doubt there were a lot of men who were accomplices, I went along with the basic idea for a long time myself but as I said, I’m older and wiser now.

Both parties wait until they are almost out of power to vote on substantial bills. This could have passed in the last session of Congress. If the Republicans wanted this to pass, they could have given it some real publicity before the vote.
Sorry to break it to you fellah, but the present DC mess started under Bush and Cheney. The contractor bonanza cashing in on Homeland Security and the Iraq war added a couple million to the population of the DC metro area, and this was all inside the beltway work as we like to say (lots of meeting with power point slides). I was here and I watched it happen. Your anger should be directed at the adults who should have known a lot better.
Those two evil globalist idiots started us down the road. All Obama had to do was do nothing to get in the way of the big payola except add some of his own friends to the gorgefest on the American taxpayer.
