YouTube last week deplatformed a YouTube channel that specialized in exposing Stolen Valor cases. "Stolen Valor," of course, refers to cases where dishonorable pretenders are caught making fraudulent claims of military honors they didn't earn. Retired Navy Seal Don Shipley has made it his life's mission to expose these shameless charlatans. His channel had 232,806 subscribers at the time it was taken down and had been in operation since around 2008.
He told PJ Media that he thinks his channel was taken down because he had "outed Nathan Phillips," who had "masqueraded as a Vietnam Vet."

I agree.
Its a private enterprise, they can do what they wish...
Build your own business
And to be honest, it would have been very unlikely he would have had anywhere near that many subscribers if not for YouTube. That’s why everyone uses it.
Self appointed Ministerium für Staatsicherheit.
I still cannot make myself understand a thought process that low-IQ.
Do they really believe they are clever or accomplishing something OTHER than making normal people hate them?
.
Weird, Don generally doesn’t do any political or controversial content insofar as unmasking Stolen Valor isn’t political or controversial. He takes one little dip in current events and his channel gets taken down.
They need to replatform him.
Time for the FCC to enforce some new Trump regulations.
Take the channel to BitChute.
Our family network dumped YouTube as of January 1. We dont miss it.
The Trump administration has done nothing to stop the censorship, even though there is a legal basis to do so.
Because it is about using the number one video platform in the world to share you videos. They also monetize their channel. Any more questions?
Thank you for saying what I have been thinking for so long. How come the bakers have to bake a cake but these digital monopolies can ban customers due to political beliefs which has nothing to do with breaking any laws. They are clearly discriminating and we should use all of the laws they put in place to harm anyone who disagreed with them.
What the !$@#$ is “deplatformed”?
Must we keep coming up with silly non-word words just because of the internet?
Anyway, besides that, it’s “duh” that an Indian would outrank a mere MIL vet.
Naturally, the Lefty and his Twitter sockpuppets have NOT been suspended.
We're edging closer to having to use the Second to defend the First against the Lefty Tech Lords.
I hope President Trump has at least one advisor putting a bug in his ear that this campaign won't be like the last one. The social media giants he used so effectively last time around will be pulling out all the stops to silence the voices of him and his supporters. Everyone is going to get banned, shadow banned, de-platformed, whatnot. It's going to be a massacre.
I looked it up with less than 5 mouse clicks. That's many fewer than you used for your "ignorant and proud of it" bitching.
What do you suggest for a better word to describe something that largely didn't exist five years ago?
Yes grandpa. Language evolves.
Exactly why he should have ran his own website.
That wouldnt stop google from blacklisting his site in the search results.
This is an ongoing war by leftistech to marginalize anyone who is not a leftist. Once your voice is silenced, you can be easily exterminated and no one will even know. Youre invisible. Voiceless.
You're assuming the giants will have the same kind of credibility they had last time.
Not if it's a monopoly of Tech Lords conspiring with other Tech Lords.
Guess you didn't see the November 9, 2016 rant/meltdown of the vile scumbag Tech Lord Dave McClure who called for a conspiracy to suppress opposing thought using their social media platforms.
