HANOI, Vietnam — The White House press corps was being evicted from its dedicated workspace for the summit here between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un — possibly to make room for the North Korean head of state.
The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs tweeted late Monday night night that the White House press corps would be relocated from its planned staging ground at the Melia Hotel — including a 200-seat ballroom and stand-up spots for broadcast reporters — to an international media center.

I think that’s why EVER AFTER the first gulf war, Saddam still couldn’t grasp how BRUTAL the US military was.
Until I learned about cars, I though my Chevy Nova could race against a Camaro.
I knew NOTHING about cars really, yet, and so I just made up my own assumptions. I learned QUICKLY at 16 this was not the case.
But with no knowledge of other cars, or in kim’s case, other countries, you make horrific assumptions.
The International media was supposed to setup at the International Media Center (makes sense).
I don't know who tried to camp out at Kim's hotel... but they got booted out and sent to the Media center instead.
But, some in the media are of course trying to use this as demonstration of how Kim is pushing Trump around by displacing the Trump "White House Press".
I have no clue, but the IMC apparently is several blocks away. Reuters terms it an old ‘soviet-era’ building (bugs in every brick?)
Viet Nam is still Communist, so I would watch what I say in any hotel (or anyplace else there).
