There are a lot of conservatives in Minnesota. I realize that this fact seems irrational given the MN election results. The reason is a familiar lament. The Twin Cities news media dominates the airwaves in most of Minnesota, and they are tilted toward the leftist side of the political spectrum. Minneapolis is now actually much worse than St. Paul.
When I was a child, Minneapolis favored the GOP, but usually middle-or-the-read Republicans. St. Paul has always been a Democrat stronghold due to a much larger Catholic population. Trends now have shown St. Paul as a more moderate political base, although they are still a metro area with DFL control. Minneapolis is now officially a leftist stronghold and with all the Somali population, it has become a lost cause. It is a shame as Mpls was always a beautiful city with lots of parks, lakes and streams.
The self-described moderates tend to vote Democrat, and that gives Democrats the election.
Many blue states are similar: Gallup shows conservatives having a small lead (which may not be statistically significant), but the states vote Democrat anyway.
Many Democrat voters don't like to describe themselves as liberal.
Liberals are the annoying people with the money telling them what to do, but they vote Democrat because they like Republicans even less.
Oregon has just started a death spiral.
Gov. Brown just signed into law free abortions for anyone (including illegals).
They have a pile of increased and new taxes and fees at the ready.
Proposed most draconian gun laws in the US.
The left, the media, and all of congress... have misjudged us for years. They thought Trump could not win: we were too few in number to vote anyone into office. They thought we were insignificant and so did not have to work for us, please us, or count us. We were the deplorables
Every time they insulted Trump, they insulted millions of us out here... and it does not go over well.
They were surprised, at their own risk.. miscalculating our number and then trying to undo an election by a coup.. or worse..because they said he was elected by fraud... NO.. we are that many and we voteed for Trump.. We are the nicer of the population and we don’t riot nor threaten everyone we see... just take it as an education... it wasn’t russian meddling.. it wasn’t voting fraud... It was WE THE PEOPLE who had had enough of obama’s years of destruction, and tired of the GOP party giving in to the dems all the time.
I am convinced congress came to Washington to bask in the popularity and all the money they can find... NOT to serve the people.. it’s easier to do nothing than it is to actually work!
Too bad they don't run for office. Can't vote for somebody who doesn't want the job.
If this is truly the case, they need to get out and vote.

Thank you. There are a lot of independent registered voters in NJ. But the cities are all farmlands for Rat voters.
It’s a real pain. In Hudson County, it’s a one-party state run amok. Like that in the major cities across the state. Utter depravity.
