The groups she hangs with purposely choose districts to ‘put’ their candidates’ to run against low level and ineffective politicians they can easily win against. That’s why her mailbox collected months of mail....she really didn’t live there.

I don't know who's funding or who is behind AOC, but I do give her credit for seizing a golden opportunity. Hell, getting paid $175,000 a year for being a lawmaker despite having zero legislative (or even some knowledge of civics) background is a helluva lot more money than tending bar.

On the other hand, the same could have been written about Trump in 2015 and 2016. He picked a fight with all the "wrong" people but he won them and took the biggest prize. Don't underestimate her.

The the ‘Sierra Club’ gave her her DC office space and have definatly supported her with $$$ along with the Justice Demorat Group who planted the likes of Raúl Grijalva, Ro Khanna, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Pramila Jayapal
