Mr. Mercat and I watched a documentary about this volcano. They said it produces more CO2 than all other sources in the world put together.

Then there are all the volcanoes under thew ocean. And we sure as hell don't know where they all are. I believe they just discovered one in the arctic...

Seems it may be melting ice. Like duh....

This has long been a thought of mine. Mankind could, with much sacrifice, reduce its CO2 for a decade, only to have it all rendered moot by one belching volcano.

http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/download?doi=10.1.1.568.842&rep=rep1&type=pdf 184 kt of CO2 per day from Nyiragongo according to that source. Manmade CO2 is 250Mt per day or 1300 times more than that volcano (when it was erupting more in the 70's)
