White Tucker Carlson Guest Says African-Americans Need to Move on From Slavery (Video)
Tucker Carlson guest Mark Steyn offered his thoughts and slavery and the issue of reparations to the descendants of U.S. slaves, telling viewers of Carlsons Fox News show Thursday that nobody living today knew anyone who had been a slave and that people just needed to move on from the whole issue.
Slavery was abolished a century and a half ago. Nobody alive today had a grandparent who was a slave and in that sense I think you reach a point where, you know, you need to move on, said, Steyn, a Canadian author and culture commentator who is white. The reparations thing eventually, as the decades go by, becomes ridiculous. ...
The moment comes as Carlson faces a months long advertiser boycott after a segment on his show in December in which he said illegal immigration made the United States poorer and dirtier. Since that episode, major brands like Pacific Life, Red Lobster, SmileDirectClub and dozens of others have pulled ads from the show...

Slavery is alive and well.
There is all the sex trafficking. There are all the slave servants used in the Muslim countries and in other countries where they migrate to. There is Slavery Lite, the USA favorite model, where you trap illegals into indentured servitude without protections and with paltry wages.
The elites of both parties are sucking on the Slavery Lite teat right now.
“If Slavery didnt exist would there have been an Abolitionist movement ?”
If women had not been denied the vote, would there have been a suffragette movement?
I hearby pledge to pay full restitution to every person that I have held in slavery, regardless of skin color.
I believe the United States took 3-5% of the slaves that were shipped across the Atlantic. The 95+% went to the Caribbean and South America.
The bulk of the slaves were shipped inland - to Muslim Countries. The male slaves that went to Muslim countries were castrated. Also, the slave trade to the West lasted two-three hundred years, ending in the early 1800s (slavery in the United States did not end until 1865, however the transatlantic slave trade ended in the early 1800s. The Brits actively stopped the slave ships).
The Slave trade from the Islamic word began with Mohammad, in the 7th Century A.D., and continues to this day. Although, technically, Saudi Arabia got around to declaring slavery illegal in the 1960s, Muslims still take black Africans as slaves from Sudan, and other African countries, to this day.
So why are we the poster nation for slavery? Because we are saps, we have deep pockets, and the American hating Communists of the World (and their useful idiots in the U.S. Media, and Academia) pour their scorn on the United States. They can all pound sand.
Tucker’s a threat to the left... he’s calling out their bullsh^t...
Yes, Indian was a misnomer, but a non-derogatory one with a historical context. By replacing it with Native American, it usurped a designation that rightfully applies to anyone born in America.
Good point about castration. It is the reason there are few descendants of slaves in Islamic lands of Turkey etc that they were traded to. Tell Sharpton the blood of castrated young black men cries out from islamic lands. Hypocritical race hustler
The Dems are just thrashing around for something to attract the black inner city types with more free stuff and motivate them to actually vote. else they have nothing.
I can hear Nazareth singing the tune “Love Hurts” with the word “Truth” replacing “Love” throughout...
Come on man,
There be money to be made in victim hood.
What happened in Tulsa, 1921:
A black teen named Dick Rowland was accused of sexually attacking a white woman in an elevator, and was arrested. An angry crowd of whites gathered around the courthouse.
A group of about 75 armed black men showed up, with the announced intention of protecting Rowland. At some point, a white man tried to take away a gun from a black man, and the gun went off. With that first shot, the blacks fired into the crowd of whites, and whites fired back.
At that point, it was war, and with it being 1921, there were a lot of recent veterans from WWI.
If it had not been slavery, our news media wouldn’t have anything to talk, bluster or cry about. News today is not about NEWS, it’s all about tearing down America and what she stands for.
And crackers are naive and gullible enough to allow it.
In every other arena, everybody knows you have to let things go. Marriage. Parenting. The past is the past.
Because everybody knows that to keep rehashing bad times is not healthy.
Everybody except blax. For them, it's a national past time. But only within the context of race/racism.
I wish Mark Steyn had Tucker’s time slot.
John Carruthers Stanly born a slave in Craven County, N.C., the son of an Igbo mother and her master, John Wright Stanly became an extraordinarily successful barber and speculator in real estate in New Bern. As Loren Schweninger points out in Black Property Owners in the South, 1790-1915, by the early 1820s, Stanly owned three plantations and 163 slaves, and even hired three white overseers to manage his property!
So, Pres Lincoln offered reparations in addition to ending slavey. They were offered 40 acres and a mule OR passage to Africa. Almost all chose the land and mule so if their decendents today have a beef they should blame their own ancestors.......geeze.....it really IS that easy.
They didn’t get the 40 acres or the mules.
It seems to be very popular still with the colored folks of color, when theyre having the all you can eats shrimps.
Why aren’t they pissed at the African chiefs who sold their own people and slaves to the Dutch
Why aren’t they p’od at the Dutch for selling those slaves all over the world
And since the slave trade started eons before we were the USA why aren’t they holding Great Britain responsible for slavery in the colonies
Inquiring minds want to know
