I like the idea of sending excess grizzly bears to California. I would also like to see the export of wolves back to states like California and New York as well. For the last century or so, the people of the coasts have told ranchers out west that they have to tolerate livestock losses to predators.

Mountain lions in California, where they are protected, are now starting to attack and kill people but the idiots out there tend to side with the lions. There was one case where a lion killed a woman. The lion was killed and people set up a fund to care for the lion’s cubs.

Our ancestors had a great deal more sense when it came to living with dangerous wild animals.

Shipping problem bears to California. That is funny.

They should ship them to the Mexican border.

Relocate them to San Francisco and Los Angeles. Might help contain the “homeless” (i.e. bums) population.

One celebrity hunter, Adam Greentree, believes that he has seen a grizz in Colorado already. Even if he was mistaken, it will probably happen naturally fairly soon.

“Too bad the southern border habitat isn’t suitable for grizzly bears?”

Actually, the Grizzly was native to northern Mexico and the Big Bend area and far west Texas areas but was killed off by ranchers. The last Grizzly killed in Texas was in 1900 in the Davis Mountains. Last Grizzly killed in Mexico was in1976 in Sonora region. However, I’m for restocking in Texas in the Guadalupe’s or Big Bend area.

We’ve been getting wolves back in the northern part of CA. Crossing the Oregon border. One assumes they’ll work their way down the Sierras and be back in Yosemite one day.

Well at least the bears are documented being shipped into California. They are also in the motor voter database for harvesting available votes.

San Francisco would be a good location for them

Here in NE Florida we’ve had a bear swim up a river from the interior of the state to Jacksonville Beach on the Atlantic. These bears will move around.

It’d be funny to introduce them into the cartel areas of Humbolt county.

“They’ll probably die. Adaptation is not that easy.”

You are wrong. The bears will thrive because mountains of California are nearly identical in fauna and vegetation and there will be no competition from other bears.

Just like introducing a bunch of Canadian timberwolves to Idaho and Montana.

OMG,just think of all the Calfornians who have NO CLUE how to behave around grizzlies, or what weapons they’ll need to carry into the countryside. Liberals and tree huggers? It’s going to be a slaughter. I am grieved by the children and other innocent people who will be killed by the beasts (and I’m specifically leaving out liberals).

The predator population in CA has been on the rise for quite some time. The last handful of years, during deer season, all you see is bear sign, bobcat sign, mountain lion sign, even wolf sign.

Of course, none of this is reported. Unless of course it is mountain lions in S.F. Then it’s splashed all over the news and is all of a sudden a problem.

In no way shape or form do we need grizzlies.

Basically this says “We succeeded in growing the grizzlie population. As it turns out, grizzlies have gotten too dangerous for humans here for some reason. In order to protect our people we will ship grizzlies to other states now where they would like to achieve the same level of success in growing the grizzlie population as we did.”
