Getting organized for Medicare and Social Security is a daunting task.
It was. So much to understand. I actually talked to several people beforehand, and filed online before going to the Security office. I wanted to be prepared.
The one big thing that was a bit confusing at first was the Medigap insurance plans. Finally understood that all Medigap plans are basically the same plans across insurers; they only difference is what the insurer charges.
How much longer before you retire?

All is well here. Right now it’s really pretty, warmish and sunny. Hope the wind doesn’t get crazy as the day goes on as is promised for later today. Ugh!

Believe me, we’re praying the weatherfolks are wrong about the storms tomorrow night! We certainly don’t need that kind of trouble. Bad enough with the flooding across the state. We’re soooooo looking forward to Sunday and a break from all this mess.
I hope y’all don’t get a lot of rain from this system as it moves north.
