Joining a completely hellhound, racist cult just because he didn't have wise instruction.
The interview that Orianna Fallaci did with him-as he was surrounded by his thuggish entourage-is very revealing.
Hence, the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time was deceived by Islam.
Deception is one way Islam conquers.
In the ME, blacks, even muslim ones, are considered fit only to be slaves to the Master Arab race - sound familiar? That’s were Hitler got his idea for a Master race, that and many other bitts were lifted from the Koran and the other four holy Islamic books and “Germantisized” for Mein Kampf.
I assume that Cassius had been baptized as a Christian....he should be O.K......we all make mistakes, some more serious than others of course.
Let’s not be silly, Ali was certainly the greatest or one of the greatest heavyweight champions. Marciano may have been been better.
Had a great tough Jesuit as a history teacher, who prided himself on having gotten in Ali’s face and called him Cassius Clay, confronting him with his Christian name.
I loved Muhammed Ali, but he did many bad things.
His rope-a-dope soliloquies were the first on the scene.
Among his other sins, I suspect Clay instigated Rap.
A joke from the Six Day War went,
“On June 10, 1967, Cassius Clay changed his name from Muhammad Ali to Morris Steinberg.”
You must be overdosing. How in the world would you know that Liston took a dive?
I had already been in the Army when that fight happened, so don't try and re-write history.
I personally didn't like Ali, but he was one of the all time great heavy weights, and didn't need Liston to tank it.
I remember Ali's explanation of the fight.
"Sonny said he's too cool. I'm staying here on my stool."
This will always be a debate. Rocky fought for 7 years and retired. Ali was at the top of his game when he was banned. I didn't like Ali the person, but he was the best boxer I have ever seen. When he was at his prime he was able to move his head so his opponents couldn't hit him.
His momma called him Clay.....Im going to call him Clay!
Ali was a moron.

Ali was no moron. He was ill educated. When you don’t have an education you can appear to be dumb.
In the mid 80’s the Champ came to my office and asked if he could sit in the lobby and hand out Korans. I said sure as long as he would speak to people.
What a pleasant guy. There was only one other person with him so he had to carry a box of Korans. Many people came up to him and got a Koran signed by the champ.
He was very humble, the opposite of demanding. He smiled readily and tried to talk over his Parkinson’s disease but it was difficult for him, he did not seem embarrassed when I asked him to repeat something.
In his youth he wanted to join the army. The army told him his IQ was too low. Later when he made a name for himself they wanted him in the service. I would have told them to go to Hell too. It took a long time for him to win his case but he did because he was right.
Cassius Clay was not the first person duped by Islam and he won’t be the last.
COWARD
I understand that two of boxing contemporaries tried to talk him out of Islam: Jimmie Ellis and George Foreman. Ali now knows and will regret for all eternity that his parents and these two friends were right and he was wrong to leave Christianity for Islam.
“...but he was the best boxer I have ever seen.”
I’m with you. Would have been nice if he didn’t get into that Islam crap, but take that away (and yes, I do know it’s a big deal, I have 20,000 posts here, after all), and you have absolutely AMAZING athlete and funny as hell person!
You can go to YouTube and clearly see Sonny took a dive. Knocked down with the phantom punch. Personally, I think Ali would have out lasted him. The guy could take a beating. I fail to see all the hate against Ali? He was not stupid by any means. Listen to interviews. The man was not educated, but was highly intelligent. He was not the first nor the last to be deceived by Islam.
He should have gone to prison as a draft dodger. One of the reasons he got off was that shortly before his case came to SCOTUS, there was another case that created a loophole for people who didn’t object to war in general, only to a particular war. Because his particular of strain of Mohammedanism did not forbid war. So he couldn’t claim to be a CO on religious grounds.
That SCOTUS case that paved the way for letting him off the hook was Gillette v USA.

I had been in the Army and got out already, so what? Did you ever see Liston fight before they made him take a dive? Boxing is more fixed than wrestling get over it.
Sure after Liston took a dive.
He was ill educated
******
What is “ill educated”
