Two men arrested in connection with an alleged attack on "Empire" star Jussie Smollett have been released without being charged due to new evidence from interrogations on Friday, Chicago police said.
"Due to new evidence as a result of today's interrogations, the individuals questioned by police in the Empire case have now been released without charging and detectives have additional investigative work to complete," police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said in a statement.

It is. But he is a protected minority at multiple levels. Don’t expect anything to happen to him. Instead, since the police are not allowed to touch the chief, watch them go after the indians. They have no one to advocate for them.

Does Jussie have big bucks for this top defense attorney or is this being covered by some big ally in the “movement”??
Yes, Jussie is in the acting world, but he is rather obscure, I think, and probably not at all wealthy. At any rate, I never heard of him before this hoax, no matter how much his self-importance may have been pumped by this silly tale. MAGA white boys recognizing him at 2 am on a sub-zero night in Chicago?? I don’t think so..... I would never have been out in that neighborhood and wouldn’t have had the slightest idea who he is, anyway....
