Michael Goodwin: Andrew McCabe is a national disgrace – and we owe him a big, fat thank you

Andrew McCabe is a national disgrace. He was part of the most corrupt and most partisan leadership team in FBI history and was fired for being dishonest under oath.

And yet, America owes him a big thank-you.

McCabe, you see, has reminded us once again that there really is a powerful deep state, and that there has not been a full accounting of rampant FBI misconduct during the presidential campaign of 2016.

There is also still too much we don’t know about the role top aides to then-President Barack Obama and higher-ups in the Justice Department played in spying on the Trump campaign and leaks of classified information for partisan purposes.

In short, what is arguably the greatest scandal in the history of America remains mostly hidden from the public. That shroud of secrecy piles one scandal on top of another.

Fortunately, the McCabe reminder is a timely one, coming on the same day that William Barr was confirmed as the new attorney general. Barr is just the man to get to the bottom of the unprecedented plot to swing an election and later to remove a duly-elected president.

Barr, who was AG under the first President Bush, also will oversee special counsel Robert Mueller’s seemingly endless probe and, hopefully, bring it to a conclusion.

He had two brief stints at Kirkland & Ellis. I believe he spent most of his post-DOJ career at GTE/Verizon and in his own law practice. Apparently he’s built a reputation as an expert in government regulatory issues, especially FCC matters.

My fear is that he comes in and starts at the beginning. By the time he gets all his ducks in a row, we’re well past the 2020 election. I think to expect Barr to start hauling these people before a grand jury is wishful thinking.

Hah! Good observations. He spent way too much time listening to that bitter “bear of little brain”...Judge Anthony Napolitano, or his equal, Judge Judy.

That is the distraction line, so when anyone ever brings this issue up, they can say AG Barr is looking into it. Then change the subject and hope it fades away in peoples minds.
Get the masses focusing on American Idol, or some type of brain sucking “reality” show.

Don’t doubt that guys like Barr are joined at the hip with K&E to handle things that K&E doesn’t want or can’t have the corporate name on.

The key is where their money comes from. A short-term job can pay millions.

PDJT almost daily public displays of his mental prowess and command of both a very complex set of facts and their governmental moving parts shows the sham of McCabe and his DOJ/FBI co-conspirators appropriateness in looking toward a 25th Amendment solution (rather, it seems more to have been based on a desperation borne of political opposition and opportunity under color of law--like Strzok's presumed ability to saving the country from a Trump presidency).

Three main facts show the coup d'etat nature of what these DOJ/FBI offcials (mostly in positions that owed to the Obama Administration having raised them to those levels):

<> 1. There was no reasonable psychological or medical precedent for invocation of the 25th Amendment.

<> 2. DOJ/FBI officials have absolutely no constitutional authority or standing to be lobbying for or working on an invocation of the 25th amendment. (Inclusion of the mention of Pence was also Deep State opportunism, I believe, as I see a tip of the hand toward what McCabe probably would know would be the VP's loyalties. Pence's assist with LTG Flynn was probably of that same loyalty and DS subterfuge (Think: skeletons).)

Subversion of the presidency through lobbying cabinet members only reinforces the idea of the McCabe group's coup nature.

<> 3. The admitted predicate for instigation of the 25A plan was Comey's firing, though PDJT was 100% legal in doing so, and did so on the basis of clearly criminal actions by Comey. Although publicly we don't have direct evidence of Comey complicity in post-firing subversion, we do see many subsequent Comey statements, inclinations and actions. They're all apparently borne of pique. He says on his book tour that Trump is "untethered from reality." Comey gives (AFAIK) not one iota of remorse for lying to Congress or leaking lots of classified information to the press and through his friends.

He's not explained himself (publicly, AFAIK) regarding the Obama quid pro quo on offered legate positions to reduce the Clinton email statements as non-criminal and more toward Lynch's "matter."

Instead, of course, the "Cardinal Comey" attempts to ride into town as if on a white horse of (copiously stated) Integrity, and hearkening to a "Higher Loyalty." I'm sure to him the CIA and the globalist cabal (but I repeat myself) looked to deserve such a higher loyalty throughout GHWB's long tenure as the Shadow President and through the solid lock the Deep State has had on the keystones within the beltway.
