President Trumps hint that he will increase legal immigration levels and a pending automation doomsday that lawmakers have yet to regulate threatens millions of Americas working and middle class workers.
This week, Trump reiterated for the third time in a few weeks that he believes the U.S. should be increasing already historic levels of legal immigration where more than 1.2 million legal immigrants are admitted every year at the expense of American taxpayers who are forced to subsidize the scheme through depressed wages and fewer job prospects

How about a moratorium on immigration for a full generation instead. /Not sarc
I know this is Breitbart and Breitbart is a wonderful Source one that I generally trust. However I seriously doubt President Trump wants to do all these things that are said in this article. I tend to look at what he has done which is what? He has created millions of jobs he has built up the middle class he is allowed people who own companies hire more people that stares in the face of what this article says. Therefore once in awhile Breitbart may get it wrong.
Try doing this in New Zealand . They would throw you in a Volcano What did the Koch Bros promise Trump on Jan 9 at their WH dinner ?
Koch Bros hate trump and his base ? The Koches hate Americans .
So you are working on defeating Trump in 2020 and hoping for a democrat to win? Good luck with that. We have already imported 35 million LEGAL immigrants in 30 Years, before Trump was in office. See my tag line.
Trump is trying his best to change immigration based on merit instead of merely have a relative on green card in US to get admitted as legal immigrant.
Trump was ABSOLUTELY CRYSTAL CLEAR about wanting LOTS more immigrants.
No other country treats it's indigenous citizenry so poorly as the USA. Even Zimbabwe has more respect for it citizens than the USA.
I believe Rush Limbaugh has a term for that where President Trump says one thing and then totally changes it a few days later. Keep an eye on it. If his position on it doesn’t change then we should probably start a recall. We should probably find a candidate from the GOP to take his place. Right?
F U . What good is victory if we sell out to foreign national scum. We end up in socialist hell either way.
Why can’t they make their own sh!th0les better, like India?
“Now where does that leave Americans?”
AOC guaranteed income paychecks
Build a comprehensive border wall, curtail illegal immigration, and then a few years later we can look at expanding legal immigration. What is the point in even making a distinction about legal immigration if we condone illegal immigration?
I think AI will replace ‘white collar’ as much as robots will ‘blue collar’.
Bump
I agree with you, but that should of been done a generation ago!
That comment is ignorant.
This article throws around numbers as if they mean what the author says they mean.
Headline writer botches completely
I left India in 1960. Last visit was in 1986. But I have a cousin who travels there often (he gets very cheap air travel as retired employee of United Airlines). He says India is 10 times more prosperous now compared to when we both left in 1960’s. It all changed when the big gov’t Congress party lost to the capitalist party of current prime minister Modi.
So why are so many Indians going to every prosperous country?
India is less than 1/3 size of United States, but has nearly 4 times bigger population. And India graduates more STEM students than United States. So too many people and not enough opportunities. Which is why you will find college educated Indians in UK, Germany, USA, Australia, Singapore, and dozens of other prosperous countries.
This was fast and lose by the author. Trying to prove what isn’t true
The principle that increases in productivity of labor leads to increased average real wage rates (not money wage rates) and increased standard of living of the average worker, works best in the context of a free, rational, modern capitalistic economy.
