A federal court judge on Wednesday threw out Paul Manafort's plea agreement. According to the judge, when Manafort entered the agreement, he said he would "cooperate fully, truthfully, completely and forthrightly with the government," but he broke that agreement when he lied to special counselor Robert Mueller.
Judge Amy Berman Jackson said that Manafort "intentionally made multiple false statements to the FBI, the OSC [office of the special counsel] and the grand jury concerning matters that were material to the investigation."

She did rule he did not lie about his contacts with the trump canon so the govt failed there. He lied about his lobbying efforts

She pretty much said that Mueller had not proved that Manafort had coordinated anything between Kilimnik and the Trump campaign. For all practical purposes, the big headline should be “Obama judge says ‘No Collusion!’”.
Bottom line, the message is clear: never enter into a plea agreement. Once they have your confession to crimes, all bets are off on any quid pro quo the offered you.
So what effect does this have? Because the longer this drags out, the worse it is for Mueller.

So I have heard breathlessly today the news that Manafort lied. Okay...fair enough...what was the lie and what was the supposed truth? They never report that...and that would be of interest, would it not?
The other news story is that the head of FEMA is stepping down...blah blah, blah, hurricances 2000 dead in Puerto Rico. Balderdash....Something like what? 60 people? The 2000 figure came from some leftist group that counted everyone that died isx months after the hurricane. Jeez repeat a lie often enough...

Judge Jackson is an Obama hack as I recall her appointment(s). With most of Obama’s top judicial picks, you cannot get honest, logical decisions. PERIOD!

I never thought he would be caged up this long, and with no ending in sight. I guess the very best lawyers don’t want to work in favor of this President. Hopefully, that will change.

This judge wakes up angry, lives all day angry, goes to bed angry... and she’s out to get anyone she can.
We meet this kind all the time at the check out or such... but to be this kind and be a judge... should not be.. she is not fit to judge ANYONE!
