Gun control advocate David Hogg is urging fellow gun control proponents to fight efforts to arm Florida teachers for self-defense.
His attempt to rally gun control supporters comes as Republican legislators in Florida seek to expand the state’s Guardian program to allow teachers to carry in the classroom for self-defense after volunteering for the program and going through the proper training.
The Guardian program currently applies to school staff members but bans guns in the classrooms, which is the very place teachers and their students huddle and hide in the midst of an attack. Republicans want to augment the program so that teachers can protect themselves and their students if all other measures fail.

How is it, that David Hogg became famous and an activist here? How is it, that in other school shootings, none of the students became nationally famous, in the media constantly, etc. ? ///////////////////////
Maybe he and Ocasio Cortez have a public notoriety agent, like the speakers bureaus that handle talk radio stars and ex office holders to get them in front of audiences for a cut of their fees.

I’ve been watching the dvds of the 1960s show The Naked City. One after another much of the time has an oddball loner who murders in order to prove to the world that he should be given attention and this will make him “somebody.”
David Hogg could star in the remakes if they ever do them, replacing the wild-eyed William Shatner, the sullenly plotting Robert Duval or the others. Weird and scary.

Most of us pull those young, stupid, and immature tricks within the confines of home and family. Must be a trip to be a national-known figure out there for all the world to see.
It is not just him, the lib press has been slobbering all week about the “anniversary” of the event coming up. Whenever the local media covers it, they have a picture of this ass on the screen.
Maybe the Hogg does not want to face an armed teacher when he goes back to school to get revenge for something.
