#31 in the picture above is Sean Battier, not Cory Maggette. I assume the point of the picture was to show Coach Krzyzewski.
Maggette was found to have accepted money from a street agent named Myron Piggie, making him ineligible by rule to play amateur college basketball. To my knowledge neither he nor Duke were ever penalized by the NCAA. Maggette wore #22 at Duke.
The athlete in post 3 looks like Shane Battier, not Corey Maggette. Battier was another Duke star from roughly the same time frame. Please delete this post unless you can confirm who this player is. Don’t want FR to be sued.
