RALEIGH, N.C. – A North Carolina substitute teacher has resigned after a student told his father that the teacher told his class that the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. was not assassinated but instead killed himself.
The News & Observer of Raleigh reports Billy Byrd also says his son told him the unidentified substitute music teacher told the class of minority students they were headed to prison because of their clothing. He said the teacher told the students they weren't real Christians if they didn't support President Donald Trump.

I would go with a real nut job. Recently had a public school substitute teacher trying to convert my youngest grandson. He didn’t need it and the school kicked her out quicker than you could say “saved”.
The word substitute teacher is a give away.
This sounds like the kind of story a kid makes up when he was bad in class and got called out for it.
My kids’ high school has a sub who is a holocaust denier. Whenever she shows up, the kids just roll their eyes.
It’s hard to find substitute teachers these days. Often the admin will take any warm piece of human flesh that comes through the door.
But the school is free!
If the kid says the teacher said it, it must be true.
Sounds like a double-fisted middle finger salute out the door.

That’s great. I’ll have to remember that. I was curious if you home school all those kids on your profile? I homeschooled a child for a while. She was offered a great opportunity to play athletics for a Catholic school. She loves it. It is a good school. People of faith yet, here in Northern CA (Crazy America), they lean toward open borders, Columbus is bad, and disdain for Trump, which drives my child nuts. Fortunately, she isn’t pressured too badly.
