Jussie Smollett's Phone Records Rejected by Cops, Proper Bill Requested

Jussie Smollett's submitted critical phone records to Chicago police, but those records have been rejected because they're not the real deal.
Law enforcement sources tell us ... what Jussie turned in 2 weeks after his alleged attack was a heavily redacted PDF file of his phone bill. Our sources say a PDF is subject to manipulation, meaning numbers can be added or deleted, although police are quick to point out there's no evidence they were in fact manipulated. The problem ... the only solid, irrefutable evidence is either the actual phone bill or a download of Jussie's phone.
As we reported, Jussie says he was on the phone with his manager at the time of the attack and the manager says he heard the racial and homophobic epithets. Chicago PD wants the phone records to authenticate a call was made. They asked Jussie for the records 2 weeks ago and received the PDF Monday.
Police say there are cameras everywhere in the area of Jussie's building, but there is still a 60-second gap in the video where you don't see the "Empire" star. So far there's no video of the attack.
Our sources say police have also retrieved security video from nearby stores to see if anybody bought rope around the time of the incident. Police are reviewing the video.
Police say Jussie remains cooperative and they are treating him as the victim of a hate crime.
As you know, Jussie says his attackers tied a rope around his neck ... police say there's video of Jussie with a rope around his neck in the lobby. They are not saying if the rope is around his neck outside the building because they say that would interfere with the investigation.

It seems like Smollett has been trying to manage evidence right from the start: his initial delay in reporting the alleged assault; his leaving the “noose” around his neck until police arrived; his request that the police body cams be turned off; and his delay in turning over partial phone records. To me, these are the actions of someone who is trying to shape and control a false narrative.

In prior cases, liberals dismissed it as “this isn’t true, but we know all the others are, and we’re so sure about that evil oppressive climate that drove them to fake it because the victim/liar internalized it”.
In short, liberals excuse the liar and blame the group they already blamed for what didn’t happen.
He’s hiding from the number of his grinder date and dealer. As well as obscuring the timeline.
Even a lot of black folks ain’t buying his crap......................

I am actually AMAZED that the Chicago police have rejected Smollett’s phone records. Because that means they are doing a true investigation here.
It would have been very easy for them to just say, “Mr. Smollett has provided us his phone records, and we thank him for his cooperation.”
This reminds me somewhat of the time Barney Frank showed up at a hotel wearing a belt around his neck.
It’s already clear there was no crime. Certainly not a crime as he described it.

He’s on camera walking down the street. There is only a 60 second gap where he is not on camera, he claims the attack just so happened to occur during that gap.

But cameras don’t pick up anyone fitting the description of the suspects. If they exist, they must have vanished into thin air. Also, Smollett claims he was on the phone during the attack but didn’t want to turn his phone over to police.

Finally he did turn his phone records over, but redacted them so heavily as to make them useless. Oh and his own neighbors think the story is totally bogus.

If this guy wasn’t a celebrity, police would have already charged him with filing a false report. The story was clearly bogus from the get go, and only became more bogus with each new revelation.

If Smollett were "merely" black, the MSM would have ignored him completely. Rather, he's the whole leftist package - black, but also gay, urban, media "star," and publicly anti-Trump. People like Ellen Degeneres also stepped up immediately, turning up the heat on this story. So now, Smollett is the "poster child."
It sounds like Jussie might be in between a rock and a hard place.
