Climate change is seen as the greatest threat to international security, according to a sweeping new survey of public opinion in 26 countries that also cites worries about cyberattacks, terrorism, North Korea, Russia – and the United States.
The findings from the nonpartisan Pew Research Center, published on Sunday, show that the people surveyed in 13 of the countries view climate change as the top international threat.
"Overall we've seen that general climate concerns and specifically global climate change had been at the top of the list or near the top of the list along with terrorism in the five years in which we've been doing these questions," says Jacob Poushter, associate director at Pew Research Center.
In eight countries, terrorism – specifically the Islamic State militant group – is seen as the top global threat in the Pew study, while people in four countries, including the U.S. and Japan, rate cyberattacks as the top risk.

That’s funny... I’m just back on a fact-finding mission on the political leanings of various news sources, and observe all the reports on these political leanings were written by the “nonpartisan” PU Research center.
That’s what I first thought to. Non partisan Pew Research - my butt. Who in their right mind thinks Pew is independent is out to lunch.
A threat is something that isn’t, but could be under circumstances, therefore is not, and will never be, because said circumstances are fictitious.
No worries...the democrats will have already killed enough babies there won’t be enough people left breathing to pollute the atmosphere with CO2.
But, those of us who survived the “cold war” (which was real) and the threat of nuclear annihilation without rolling up into the fetal position and dying in place, know how to cope with this worldwide hoax.
Climate is too big to be that affected by mankind. If every “green” idea ever mentioned were implemented immediately, it wouldn’t change anything, except we’d be living like the Neanderthal people.
It’s a democrat scam, designed to control us - like obamacare - and to take our money.

CAIRO – Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden has called for the world to boycott American goods and the U.S. dollar, blaming the United States and other industrialized countries for global warming, according to a new audiotape released Friday.
In the tape, broadcast in part on Al-Jazeera television, bin Laden warned of the dangers of climate change and says that the way to stop it is to bring “the wheels of the American economy” to a halt.

Conservatives want clean air and water. The future of renewable energy could in time provide boundless climate and economic benefits. Nothing wrong with valid research. Yet it is the height of arrogance to promote a climate crisis as a cover for a globalist/socialist geopolitical agenda.

Climate change may or may not be the greatest threat in the world, but what is to be done about it? For millennia, the response by humanity has been “Adapt”.
Men live on the Sahara, on the Tierra de Fuego in far south Argentina, on remote islands surrounded by water in every direction, and even among some high mountain redoubts. Men have never been in fear of entering a new environment, and making a home there. There is no Terrestrial environment on the earth’s surface where mankind has not penetrated at some time or other, and in those localities where adaptation was either too difficult, or changed too drastically, they left and found more compatible localities.
Ok, climate change or UFO’s? Make up your mind.
