(Joshua Paladino, Liberty Headlines) A new study from the Federation for American Immigration Reform debunks the claim that illegal aliens commit crimes at a lower rate than legal residents and native-born citizens.
“This study should put to rest, once and for all, the notion that illegal aliens commit crimes at a lower rate than legal residents,” FAIR President Dan Stein said.
FAIR’s study, using data from the federal government’s State Criminal Alien Assistance Program (SCAAP), found that illegal aliens perpetrate crimes three times more often than legal residents.
In some states, illegal immigrants commit crimes at five times the rate of legal residents.
SCAAP is a federal program that compensates states for locking up criminal illegal aliens. With access to this data, FAIR estimated the total illegal alien inmate population in some states.
FAIR chose to study Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Texas and Washington because they have the highest concentration of illegal aliens, they regularly report to SCAAP, and 65 percent of the United States’ illegal alien population lives within them.
While the report shows that authorities incarcerate illegal aliens on criminal convictions three times more than legal residents, it leaves out a key fact: every illegal alien has committed a crime by entering the United States without authorization.
The mainstream media portrays illegal aliens as much less likely to commit crimes because they fear deportation. But the states studied have numerous sanctuary jurisdictions, where local law enforcement refuses to comply with federal immigration authorities, so deportation is not as prevalent a threat.

I’m sorry, you’re slightly mistaken; it was a state proposition which decriminalized shoplifting under $950 where the maximum enforcement is issuing a citation. We’ve also pretty much waived any payment of bail for ‘minor crimes’, so even when they don’t show up for their court cases, it’s just a moment in the jail for their booking and nearly immediate release. (whereupon they’ll get another warrant out for not appearing and it repeats...)
In some cases, cops now just tell the person to move along without identifying them, lest they find a warrant which ties them up for a couple hours in reports while the perp is out before they’re even done writing.

Almost all of them have committed at least 2 crimes.
1. If they are working and taxes are being taken out, then they are using a stolen/fake SSN, and thus breaking the law.
2. If they are working, and not paying taxes, they are evading taxes, thus breaking the law.
3. If they are not working, then they are receiving some kind of welfare benefits illegally from the govt, thus breaking the law.

Ha, Ha, ha! Liberals don't rely on facts for their beliefs, only faith. Because someone, sometime, somewhere, said that illegal aliens commit crimes at a lower rate than law abiding citizens, this is an indelible truth that no data will ever erase. You simply can't win an argument with a liberal by using facts.
I have traveled all over the world and worked in many countries. I have NEVER entered a country illegally.
Exactly 100% are criminals. The first illegal entry is a misdemeanor. If they are deported and the enter again illegally, it is a felony.
The third time ought to be a capital offense.
