Chase Bank Shuts Down Proud Boys Leader’s Personal Bank Account
Big League Politics ^ | 02/08/2019 | Waldo Crane

Enrique Tarrio, who is the Chairman of the Proud Boys fraternal organization, had his personal Chase bank account shut down abruptly earlier this week.

In a letter obtained exclusively by Big League Politics, the bank informs him that he must shut down all of his accounts by April 1st, 2019, without giving a reason.

This comes just days after Chase Bank’s payment processor, Chase Paymentech, de-platformed him on a website he runs that allows groups and charities to sell merchandise, and raise money for causes. The website, 1776.shop, is most known for selling the famous “Roger Stone Did Nothing Wrong” shirts which Stone was spotted in during the late-night arrest at his home.

Tarrio has been facing months of backlash for his affiliation with the Proud Boys, first getting onto the radar in an article published on The Daily Beast, which asserts that people of color are joining white supremacist organizations. Tarrio is both Cuban, and black, and was profiled in that article.

The reason the Proud Boys are being attacked so viciously by the Uniparty is that they started to get traction in pop culture with young people. Conservative ideas with a marketable package (snappy logo, etc.) just put the proggies off the Deep End.

It’s complete. ALL major businesses are now using their resources to eliminate those who don’t repeat standard leftist party dogma.

Payment processors, credit card companies, donation services, social media, colleges, schools, newspapers, videos, search engines.

What good was it to elect Trump if we are victimized for our thoughts?

Smartest thing the left ever did was taking over Corporate America. They would have totally outflanked us by now but for POTUS.

Yep. First time I’ve ever seen the pinkos at SPLC cited on FR as an authoritative source.

If it’s a legit group, the use of the term “proud boys” would be a decent way to encourage other young men to think in terms of being proud of doing the right thing, always good things.

I kind of like it.

I’ve heard the name, but I’m not knowledgeable about enterprise.

I know the fine print says they can close your account for any reason or none at all, but that doesn’t give them the right to discriminate against a person’s political views. Too bad I don’t have an account at one of their banks so I could dump them, but I’m sure plenty of people do, and WILL dump them!

All I can say is “If there were no Proud Boys, liberals would have to invent it”.

This is serious. Now anyone can be kicked out of the banking system for looking bad?

We still don’t know why he got his bank account shut down.

Is Chase shutting down other Trump supporter accounts as well? I am sure they have more then just this guy as a customer.

Just saying it is an organization the left created so they can point to it as call it a ‘white supremacist” pro-Trump conservative hate group

Gavin McInnes is not a leftist.

The "white supremacist" organization created by the left was Jason Kessler's "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville. Proud Boys had nothing to do with that.

Proud Boys really were nothing more than guys who wanted to hang out with McInnes, wear Fred Perry shirts, MAGA ball caps, support Donald Trump, and pick fights with Antifa. It was SPLC that categorized them as this complex, organized hate group after McInnes started earning mainstream support and recognition.

unfortunately not the first time for me seeing it used on free republic as a definitive source...sad truth is that Wikipedia can be a good site to find out info but it cant be trusted. the place is ran by the left to promote there view of the world. I am very hesitant about trusting the info especially if it is political in nature.

The whole alt-right thing seems a bit hinky. Richard(?) Spencer, the guy that is held up by the Left as the originator of the alt-right, ended up being a supporter of socialism. He disappeared in a hurry. Charlottesville seemed like a mostly staged encounter with neither side being particularly in tune with the Constitution. It all seems very phony.

Richard Spencer is a goose-stepping Nazi with a Hitler Youth haircut. He has nothing to do with Proud Boys and Proud Boys had nothing to do with "Unite the Right, --an event STAGED by leftists.

THIS!!! +1

There is a reason that Gavin McInnes and Proud Boys got kicked off Twitter and deplatformed while Richard Spencer and David Duke are allowed to remain. The left wants Spencer and Duke and their Nazi goose-stepping, Klan-hooded silliness to represent the face of Trump supporters, not the pro-Western McInnes and his multiracial Proud Boys.

Wikipedia??? Do you know who now edits and writes for them? Political leftists. Have you not noticed that Wikipedia articles on conservative groups are mostly negative, while articles on leftists are positive? When I read their Hillary Clinton bio, I would have sworn the info therein had been written by her campaign. Read Brett Kavanaugh’s page. It’s pretty hard to find anything negative to say about him, but they managed to get their licks in, casting any conservative leaning decision or action, as a negative. They had to include his stellar accomplishments, else they would have had nothing to write, but as I said, they got their licks in, including NOT mentioning any of the negatives about Blasey Ford, but leaving the impression that she told the truth, hanging there. Contrast his bio with Blasey Ford’s. Her bio implies that everything she testified to was true. There is no intimation of any kind that she was lying.
Yeah, Wikipedia has been hijacked by liberals.

Proud Boys have been protecting defenseless grandma from Antifa thugs.

Show some respect. Proud Boys are real men with balls.

We are all just whimpy metro sexual commenters in comparison.

And apparently Trump does not consider this a part of the MAGA agenda. He hires those who do not care about the rights of conservatives - quite the opposite.
