RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — The head of Virginia’s House of Delegates is calling for the resignation of Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax.
House of Delegates Speaker Kirk Cox said in a statement Saturday that Fairfax’s ability to govern has been “permanently impaired” by “multiple, serious credible allegations” of sexual assault made recently by two women.

This will be very tricky for the Democrats. They cannot allow these guys to stay, but they will not allow a Republican to become Governor. That being the case, here’s what I think they’ll do: Northam, Fairfax, and Attorney General Herring will all announce their resignations on the same day. There’s no other way - you cannot have the optics of having Fairfax resign, while it looks like the two white guys will be staying. In the case of Northam, there will be a caveat: He will resign, however, his resignation won’t be effective for 30 days (maybe 60 days) to give him time to select a new Democrat Lieutenant Governor, who will then take over when Northam leaves office.

As much as I would like to see this guy screwed into the wall there are parts of this story that, frankly, don’t pass the smell test. One thing, how likely do you guys think it that a person is engaged in consensual kissing but is unaware he unzipped his trousers? Really? How many of you guys think you could be seriously engaged in prolonged, deep kissing and be unaware she unzipped? Secondly, “forced to perform oral sex”. I think we are just accepting this is possible. Without getting graphic, I just don’t see this as being realistic. Sorry.
It is really amazing how badly Democrat, African-American politicians have treated rank & file African-American citizens & voters for many years running. Whether in the big cities or in the Oval office (Obama) and his cohorts. Gillum, Conyers, Scott, Waters, Abrams, Jackson-Lee, Jackson, etc., have filled their coffers and lined their pockets with public or ill-gotten gold, while leaving the average African-American woman, man & family in the gutter of poverty. Just simply amazing...Shame!!!

on your first point, maybe fairfax was wearing sweat pants at the time. if he was wearing sweat pants instead of business slacks at the time, though, should that then have made a difference in how tyson comported herself in his hotel room (i do not know one way or another, but it seems to me on the surface that it is at least possible that she should have been more careful if the former).
