A few years ago at the height of the global warming scare I wrote a book which set out to answer one of the key questions of our time: if climate change isn’t really a problem why do so many people act as though it is?
The answer, I discovered, is that environmentalism is just a fashionable mask for the usual leftist obsessions with state control and wealth redistribution.
That’s why I called the book Watermelons: green on the outside, red on the inside.
Not everyone who believes in man-made climate change is a full on Commie. Some are merely useful idiots. But whatever reason people may have for supporting the scam – greed, stupidity, virtue-signalling, idiot leftist teachers – the net result is the same: bigger government, higher taxes, more regulation, lower standards of living. Exactly like you’d get under communism, in fact.
So color me completely unshocked by the Green New Deal. It looks like a revamped Communist Manifesto because that’s exactly what it is.
If implemented, the size of government would increase to levels never before seen in a Western economy. The state’s control of everything from wage levels to how businesses are run to your personal freedoms would be total. There’s no mention of gulags or political prisoners or secret police but of course those would inevitably follow because how else would the state have a hope of enforcing measures which freedom loving Americans would naturally resist?
The only surprise about the Green New Deal for me is that its proponents are so brazen about their plans.

While it is true, there may have been a percentage of well meaning sheeple early on in the environmental movement, of a generation past, in reality, central control of economy and society, and sovereign/authoritarian governance, was always at the heart of it’s real driving proponants.
Environmentalism and all anti-science “climate change” debate, have simply been backdoor tools of the marxist.
Environmentalism and “climate change” also served the interest of the anti-God/no moral boundaries demonic pagan and wicken earth worshing types.
Well, it’s out of the closet now!
It is now being proclaimed from vertically the entire DNC roster, it is all about replacing liberty and our Constitution, with a totalitarian Marxist government!
Every DNC effort now, from coast to coast, no matter the subject, is for one purpose - to wipe out liberty, and one way or another, to wipe out any and all who love liberty and would espouse moral boundaries, and those who believe in God!
I honestly don’t see how you share a country with persons of no morals, no integrity, there is no lie they won’t tell, there is no corruption from which they will refrain. They share NONE of our “values” but try to drone on about values we don’t share. It seems to me the ultimate denial to allow the farce of government we currently have to proceed. They are trying to claim “their way or the highway” is inevitable or required or some such which is just not true. They do not want to improve the US they. Merely want to remove it as an interference with their globalist communist plans. Why are we pretending we can share a country with them?

Their media has spent 50 years determining which “values” we hold, and they’ve been very effective. The mass media basically removed marriage from mainstream media decades ago, and has been assisted by courts in making marriage and families undesirable enough so that Americans have had a negative birth rate for years. As a result, foreign populations are imported into the West just to keep the lights on (at huge costs), and the watering down of our cultures to accommodate the foreigners leaves us with no norms at all (and questioning the open borders simply has one branded a racist and threatens one’s livelihood).
They are openly hypocritical (two great examples are “bake the gay wedding cake while restaurants put up signs that Trump supporters aren’t welcome” and the absurd fiasco playing out in Virginia exposing Dem double standards on race AND gender), and nothing is done - they are aligned with the mass media elites so we have to just take it.
They don’t intend to share a country with us; in their view we are simply working in their country and will be taxed to death doing so.

It is actually much worse than that, and much more dangerous:

It is a broadening of the economic war against whites (and Asians), and a massive transfer of wealth from people on the right side of the Bell Curve to those on the left side. This hate speech is the natural progression to allowing affirmative action to stand in court. While the death by a thousand cuts in this undeclared race war bothers me, I take comfort in knowing eventually these mutants won’t just run out of other peoples’ money - like Haiti or sub-Saharan Africa, they’ll run out of OTHER PEOPLE.
Should be called the RED New Deal.
If the left insists on poking the bear, even they must know that at some point the bear will bite.
The name counts for everything. We have been royally fooled by nice-sounding names that deliberately mask a vastly different reality:
“new deal”
“great society”
“civil rights movement”
“war on drugs”
“social security”
“homeland security”
“peacekeeping force”
“credit bureaus”
“internal revenue service”
“planned parenthood”
“reproductive justice”
“social justice”
“first Black president”
