“The money is irrelevant.”
It’s not irrelevant. The wealthy casino-owning tribes can pony up to pay the judgment. It needs to send a message, and it needs to hurt. Paying a price hurts.
Bad news for Chief Drumstick.
Phillips Indian name is Ge-ga-ta-ga......
......means “Brave indian who stands in rain during electrical storm”.............
Nathan Phillips is living in the past. Before social media and a cell phone camera in every pocket he was free to race bait and make up lies. No longer is this possible.
After Nick Sandman wins his millions, I fully expect the diocese and school to publicly upbraid him and his family for significant donations.
I fully believe in giving to the Lord, but I’d tell them to pound sand.
Agree. Hopefully his younger brothers are not in that school. He is a junior. School ends in 3 minths. One year to go.buy a big house somewhere else. Ohio is 3 miles away.
There is nowhere that poor kid can go to be free of the blatant gross character assassination by Phillips and especially the media.
Even if he changes his name and moves, he’ll still have trouble in college and getting a job.
He needs to be rendered wealthy so that he can work at his pleasure, not out of need.
The great part is that the March for Life was given a tremendous amount of publicity instead of being ignored as it usually is.
We go every year and are amazed that there is no media coverage for a march with well over 500,000 people on a weekday in January every year.
Hopefully we get to the truth about who set these boys up He is just the tip of the spear.
100 million after attorney fees sounds about right.
“After Nick Sandman wins his millions”
I hope this is the outcome, but a politically biased judge can toss the whole case on a technicality.
White Catholic boys are not supposed to win cases against oppressed Native Americans.
(If you thought a courthouse was a neutral playing field, you’re mistaken...)
How is he getting money to travel across the US?
I believe NO one can attach veterans benefits. Monetarily or otherwise.
I would be perfectly happy with the appropriation of all his belongings and property including his store-bought ceremonial drum. Just to make his life difficult.
The old native guy has nothing worth suing over except a public apology and confession that he lied.
I’m wondering if the boys attorney is going to do a major “reverse class action” against these people? Were they to do so and win big, it would severely inhibit the ability of the radical left to libel and slander those on the right en masse.
That is, right now the left *as a group* uses fake news and hate attacks to go after somebody, hitting them, their family and friends, their business, etc. and all at once. A reverse class action lawsuit would enable the abused person(s) to sue all of the attackers at once as a “class”.
Which, I might add, pushes right up against the boundaries of a RICO lawsuit.
Awesome
The school hierarchy and the bishop/diocese need to be sued as well.
During the lawsuit, can the lawyers demand to see a copy of the Chief’s DD 214?
Rumors spreading that the Indian got a Bad Paper discharge from the USMC.
The school is run by the diocese. I believe 3 dioceses with big mouth bishops are on the list.
What I've read about the noble Native American Nathan Phillips:
1. He first claimed being a Viet Nam Veteran, which means he was in-country. Now claims Viet Nam ERA. So what?
2. He went AWOL 3 times.
3. He was discharged short of his enlistment obligation.
4. He received a General Discharge.
5. He has a history of being an activist agitator.
6. He has been in trouble with LE.
7. He has given 3 different accounts in interviews.
If all that's true, it will come out in discovery. Phllips and others will lose, especially from No 7.
True but.........alinski will be in play. The fact they are minors may help them in the suits.
