As long as NM agrees to cut their state from the national electrical grid they can go ahead and fail on whatever endeavor they wish.
Power by guys on stationary bikes eating Soylent Green.
What about transmission losses? Is this massive solar farm one big one, or spread out in little chunks?
What about cloudy/rainy days?
What about the solar panels not on the equator/tropics? As you move farther away, the sun’s rays are less perpendicular, and hence less energy is reaching the surface. You won’t get your full 1000W/m^2 each day.
Overall, it will take much more solar in practice than it will in theory...

The transmission losses will be big. No one wants to see these ugly solar farms near the neighborhood. The will force them to be out in the boondocks where the distance to send the power to the cities will increase the resistance loss in the transmission line. I have heard that solar and wind are not practical.
Going to duct it into a below ground muffler of course, no sound or smoke.
What is happening in nm further proves that one should never allow a LIB/DIM to assume any position of power, influence or authority. Good luck nm. You voted for these malignancies. Hahahaaaaa.
Democrats: doubling down on stupidity, to get caught up with all the other states mandating unicorn farts as alternative fuel. Seems they are trying to pass everything they can, as fast as they can.
I grew up without electricity on a ranch in the middle of nowhere. Looks like this bunch is going to make sure I once again live without electricity. I have news for them, I am sure I can live longer without it than they can. As bad as I would hate it, at least I could enjoy knowing they have no idea how to do it and their suffering would bring pleasure to me every day.
I don’t think they gave it away. In my opinion they sold it to the cartel.
Hello Tammy8
Sold or given away, they still sold
us out, no doubt. How do we fight this,
as it’s evident our votes aren’t working?
We’ve got a loony tunes governor. I can
only imagine how bad things are going to
get there in Antelope Wells. According
to a latest poll, there’s going to be
5 million invaders in the next 12 months.
If I can find the link, I’ll post it.
Hang in there!
Everyone needs to remember the people, drugs, whatever that comes across this border illegally do not stay here. Illegal border activity here is just passing through on its way to every part of our country. Border issues that are my problem today may be your problem in a few days. We are all going to have to hang in there, while we fight to put a stop to it.
