“The sheriff is near!”
It took me a while to pick up on the Laurel and Hardy reference. Good pun.

MeTV is running early MASH episodes, with “Spearchucker” in the credits.

I watched it on AMC once...they even eliminated the fart noises from the campfire scene!

Right. I actually should have spelled it “hearty” but I wanted to make the reference clear.

I have several. I also have Soul Man. Please don’t tell the FBI.

Its ok. Audiences today couldnt handle watching Blazing Saddles with a normal mindset anyway.
I mean virtually all the white characters are portrayed as inherent racists. How many idiot whites are triggered by that now?
Thts the thing, I never identified with those characters on those attributes, because I’m not like that. No one was trying to convince me I was one either.
No one today can handle this movie. You know every actor in that film was participating voluntarily of their own free will, they all got paid, none of them were stereotyped from their role, none of them suffered anything bad from being in the movie.
Cant reason with idiots who want to be perpetually offended.

That sounds like something those Kansas City faggots would do.

There’s a lot of stuff that even Richard Pryor couldn’t get away with today.

Starting in 1971, the town I lived in was a test market for something called cable TV. Can't tell you how many times I watched Blazing Saddles when it came out.
