West Yorkshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Cheshire police handled more incidents than in any year since 2007-08.

Hobbit crimes?
“Anyway, it must be that the UK gun laws aren’t strict enough. “
What’s beyond a total ban?
“Overall gun crime in England and Wales is lower than 10 years ago,”
Do the majority of Brits even know what guns are anymore much less how to use them?
Pisspoorwriting. “Air Weapons”? What are those, Anti-Aircraft Guns, AA missiles, Air powered Ping-Pong ball guns, NERF guns, water-guns?
Notice how the article never tells you how a “gun” was used, such as in armed robberies, gang shootings (hinted at), domestic disputes, terrorist acts, attacks on the police, drunks, etc.
And the rise of “knife” attacks was left out too. Moslem extremists now have developed the tactic of “Knife Intifadas” against law enforcement and civilians alike, to supplant their vehicular murder tactics.
Whatever editor let this POS article get published like it is should be fired for incompetence, but then, again, “They are oh so British”.
