So President Donald Trump blew through House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's customary introduction before his State of the Union speech.
Who cares?
Not Pelosi, who was the white-clad backdrop to every Trump word uttered during his first address to a joint session of Congress under divided government. With a smirk and an eye-roll , she set the tone for the new lawmakers who flipped the House from Republican control and elected her to lead them.

It’s different when Pelosi smirks. That old saying it takes more muscles to frown than to smile? Imagine the gallons of botox injections she has to overwhelm in order to even partially smirk. Exhausting and may require a little oxygen inhalation.
Honestly, though, it is typically reprehensible when leftists deride that young many for supposedly “smirking” instead of just yelling back at his tormentors. And maybe making a bruise print of his school ring on someone’s Native American “high cheekbone.”

Plus the fact that while they stood and cheering when Trump said women’s employment is up and unemployment is down, they didn’t do it last time when he stated that black unemployment was down and jobs were up.
