There is certainly more to this case than Kavanaugh’s case. There was nothing other than Ford’s testimony there. Here we have a couple of facts.
1. No political motive as they both appear to be leftists.
2. She has told others about it previously
3. He has admitted to the relationship, but calling it consensual.
I’m not saying Fairfax is guilty. What I am saying is that when the facts came out (or lack thereof) concerning Kavanaugh, it was right to dismiss it out of hand. In this case, as the facts are coming out, it can’t be dismissed out of hand. It might come down to he said/she said but at least here there actually was an encounter which we didn’t even have corroboration of in the Kavanaugh/Ford debacle.
Even if true I can't imagine repeating that.
"She was begging for it your Honor. Begging for it!
A wiser man would’ve spoken out against it when people such as Roy Moore and Kavanaugh were being vilified for bogus claims and the “guilty until proven innocent” standard overwhelmed politics and common sense.
Where is the blue dress?
The Democrat machine in Virginia is clearly fouled. But, will the Republicans be able to produce a viable candidate without a blemish?
Finding a pristine candidate will be a serious dilemma for the politicos charting their way through the hot-buttons of 47% and long lists of third-rail words, like macaca, that become instantly embedded in the political jargon.
There may be not-presently-evident political motive. After all he just got an opportunity to become governor if he can pull it off.
Can’t help notice this one is ALSO out of Stanford, as was Blatant-Fraud. And is using political lawyers.
If it wasn’t reported to police within a reasonable amount of time, then the accusation should be considered to be the kind of post-facto reality revision spurned lovers often resort to.
I would not dismiss politics.
There are many layers to politics.
I suspect that for some people Fairfax just wont do, as a Virginia governor, for whatever reasons, one of them probably being this skeleton in his closet. If the woman told, back then, it was a risk that it would come out at some point. Better to purge him now than later.
The attorney general may also be some powerful interests preferred man.
There is certainly more to this case than Kavanaughs case. There was nothing other than Fords testimony there.

More credible for sure:
Date/time/place & Fairfax himself has confirmed “sex happened”.
Ford had zip, zilch, zero.
“He said, she said”, but by Dem rules, when Repubs are involved, the woman must be believed under any circumstances. It’s a really “ugly look” & Dems are eyeball deep in hypocrisy when they won’t apply it to their own (which is how they always operate, of course - just SO in everyone’s face in this case). At the risk of being ‘old fashioned’ & crude (I don’t care any more), there is a lot to be said for in situations outside of marriage, females keeping their knees together & males keeping “it” in their pants.
