When's the last time you remember a CNN host—before permitting a former Dem official to speak—telling such guest, and by extension the audience, "you are hardly an impartial reporter?"
Like never, maybe? And CNN brings on a pile of former Obama and Clinton officials from Jim Clapper on down. (Oh, and psst, CNN hires former Obama officials as "impartial reporters." See Jim Sciutto.)
But that's what happened to former Trump aide Marc Short when he appeared on this morning's New Day. Before permitting Short to report on his conversation with President Trump regarding the SOTU, co-host John Berman said:
"Now Marc Short, you are hardly an impartial reporter here, having worked for the President, but we would like to go to you as a reporter first this morning, because you've spoken to President Trump in the last few days about this State of the Union address."

John Berman is dumber than dirt, a qualification CNN is proud of.
Given an introduction like that, wouldn’t it have been fun if Short just started spewing total BS at Vermin. Sort of like:
“Well, Mr. Trump has decided that Nancy and Chuck are right about the wall, so he’ll be announcing his removal of support regarding its building. He’s also realizes he’s made a mistake in Syria, and will be sending another 10,000 troops back there indefinitely. And, because the economy just isn’t coming back like he wants, he’s doubling the taxes on corporations so he has more money that he can sink into more government-funded projects immediately.”
The cranial eruptions from the left would be great!
Unlike all the other fair and impartial CNN reporters...
He should have walked off the set. Let them fill the time with some of their daily dribble.
Why would he go there in the first place?
I would like trump to dismantle the border wall in Cal from the ocean east through abut half the state Use the materials in another state. Cal is sanctuary and Pelosi says the wall is immoral, oxo Cal doesn’t need a wall. Let’s give them what they want.

IF these people go on CNN and are treated like this and haven’t got the common sense or guts to look at the camera and say “Like John Brenanan is objective” and walk off the set, they deserve to be ridiculed.
Take crap and all you’re going to end up with is a pile of crap.
