When Brett Kavanaugh, Conservative, was accused of sexual assault, even after passing SIX FBI background checks..the same commie left said “WE NEED TO INVESTIGATE FURTHER!!”

Seeing politicians get all tangled up in attempted fancy talk has long been a guilty pleasure of mine. He’s a treasure trove.
Because he ran the classic Karl Rove establishment campaign and refused to have Trump campaign alongside him.

This story is a lot more credible than the trash thrown at Kavanaugh.
And in the “he-said, she-said” world of #metoo, the entire meaning of the hashtag is that, when you have no idea which person to believe, you have to believe the woman.
The reason for this is that, someone is lying, and for so long women were dismissed when they clearly were telling truth (see many of Clinton’s accusers; see Monica Lewinsky for a case of a proven lie).
We tend to fight this as conservatives, wishing instead to apply logic to every situation, and then to apply certain evidence standards if we are going to damage someone’s reputation or career.
SO here is the problem. Two people close the door to a hotel room. Nobody will ever know what happened, and since it appears no physical damage was done, there was never a chance for physical “evidence” that force was used.
The two people tell different stories. How do you know which to believe?
We look to see if the woman told anybody at the time. There is no evidence right now that she did; and remember, if she did, that would still just be her word; if he told people the next day about this great sex night and how he hoped he’d see her again, that would be evidence as well, and there is no evidence that he did that.
SO we are left with, why did she tell this story? And we don’t know. What we know is this:
- They did have sex. Both say this happened.
- If he never called her, she might hold a grudge against that — but most women who do that, make the assault claim pretty quickly, when they are really hurting, not 14 years later.
- She is the same race, and political party. She shares his views. So there is no reason to think she is doing this for politics.
- He clearly would want to deny it, because it would ruin his career. SO he has a reason to lie.
I don’t know. She has no reason to lie about it, unless the breakup was bitter, and she is the kind of person to hold a long grudge.
So, rather than asking friends of the guy whether he would ever “do this”, ask the friends of the woman if she has ever falsely accused someone of a crime before.
Because just as the democrats seem to be saying “if a guy is a rapist, he’d do it more than once”, clearly if a woman would make false charges of criminal behavior, she would do it more than once.
I’m pretty sure that she will either deny everything to protect herself at this point, or else the democrats will destroy her, like they did to the accuser of Emmanuel, who is credibly charged by two women with assault and is now Attorney General.
Brett didn’t say the woman was smearing him. He was very deferential to her, and empathized with her. He did have harsh words for the committee democrats who held the story for months, worked with the woman to hide her history, and then sprung her at the last moment.
Would be interesting to find if he had quotes related to Kavanaugh’s experience.
Hook up gone bad. At least he didn’t deny knowing her.

It may very well be a smear, but it should be investigated as thouroughly as the smears against Kavanaugh. Goose...Gander
Looks to me like they knew about the sexual assault allegations, all of which are, so far, more detailed and less refuted than even those against Roy Moore. Moore, after all, denied any improprieties with underage women, there were serious doubts about the veracity of the main accuser, and she only made her charges more than thirty years after the alleged incident(s).
