I don’t think so. If moral standard was the criteria, Trump never gets elected. Not with Stormy Daniels on front pages. Or his cheating on his wives.
The real reason Trump got elected is conservative people are fed up with Congress and the deep state. Even the evangelists came out to vote for him in spite of everything in the news.
I disagree. He was elected because he was honest about being an imperfect man, that as a husband, father and grandfather, he wanted to make the world a better place. He was about putting the US and the traditional values we hold dear as his priority. hillary was in it for herself. President Trump wins for the moral standard, no question.
