Democrats do not generally turn on their own, especially if that person is farther left than the craziest among them. I am beginning to revise my belief that, yes, they do want this guy to resign—but only because they want Justin Fairfax in the office more. Why? Because he is from the black, oppressed people and not an old white guy.
One day old white guys are going to be in danger even in the party of whack jobs. Democrats long to be black and poof. It would see that old white women are safe for the time being.

I saw a picture of this fellow yesterday. The calls by democrats for the governor to resign suddenly made sense.
If I didn’t know better, I’d be suspicious of some skulduggery by the Virginia ‘Rats. They put Fairfax as number 2 on the ticket, knowing he’d bring in some black votes, though probably not strong enough to win on his own. Meanwhile, they suppress the information about Northam that would have blown his chances, knowing he would otherwise have an easy time winning the Governorship.
Now that he’s served his purpose, the Leftists in Virginia are kicking Northam to the curb. Bring out all this nasty stuff about him, forcing him to resign and put Fairfax in the post. A racial MeToo hit on the guy, if you will.
If I’m right, and I’m sure someone here will correct me if I’m not, look for this to be a standard M.O. across the country within the next 5 years. Pair a “moderate” with a radical, let them win, then bring out the dirt on the top person and let the radical take over.
