Wow. So many media outlets are all cutting back. So will there be less propaganda available??? What will we do???

Washington Post tells us democracy dies in darkness. To them the dark days started with Trump becoming president.

I would love to hear the Post tell us, what Trump has done to restrict their ability to publish any damn thing they want.

Does democracy dies in darkness, or do liberal news organizations die when nobody is willing to pay for their pablum anymore?????

For me the worst years will always be the Obamanation years. Getting work was nearly impossible. The ruling elite of culture don't want to call it a depression but that is exactly what it was .

I remember when pretty much every house on the block got the Fresno Bee. In time, as the divide between conservative and liberal came more into focus, people began cancelling. I was one of them. Now, it's only a couple of houses that have the Bee delivered. The liberals at McClatchy have only themselves to blame.

Google and facebook get 80% of the advertising revenue now. There isn’t less liberal propaganda, it’s just more concentrated in fewer places. Still, it’s good to see some of these liberal Pravda mouthpieces go under.

What I don’t understand is the media is a business. The object of business is to make money. A blind man could see that the closer your output is to what people want the more of that output you will sell. What kind of output does the consumer want from the media? An unbiased recitation of the news with as little emotional commentary as possible. So, knowing this, why did they create false story after false story? And, it wasn’t as if the falsity of the stories was difficult to discern. Much of what they “reported,” some would say “made up,” was so illogical and not in keeping with previously known facts that anyone should have hesitated in publishing the “information,” some would say “lies,” before the full facts could come out.
These businesses didn’t “fail.” They suicided.

I am leading a one man campaign against the Major Propaganda Rag - USA Today. If you are staying in a hotel, please don’t take a copy of the far leftist news. Every hotel has a dozen copies of USA Today at the front desk. It is a good day when you see the desk clerk throw away all dozen copies the next morning!

FWIW there were supposedly hundreds and hundreds in propaganda funding that Obama got passed in a defense budget bill in December 2016, with funding starting the month Trump took office to pay the likes of CNN and Buzzfeed 9-figure amounts to crank out anti-Trump propaganda. That was for a two-year period, and though Trump didn’t manage to cut it short, it didn’t get re-funded, so now the paid-off media are cutting the staff dedicated to it.

“So will there be less propaganda available?”

probably more ... it’s pretty obvious that the lying leftist fake stream enemedia have already pulled in their horns and now attempt to appeal only to the very narrow slice of their hardcore leftist/progressive customers who are the only ones who willingly pay to lap up their worthless propaganda ...
