When Congressman Ron Paul spoke out against the Iraq invasion he accurately predicted virtually chapter and verse what was to come. He was absolutely correct in his prescient analysis. Too bad he was ignored. Otherwise the nation may have been spared the intolerable grief of over six thousand brave young Americans killed, tens of thousands more physically and psychologically maimed, trillions squandered, a severe economic recession and the political ascent of Obama. These foreign entanglements in alien lands have and continue to severely hurt the nation.

One of Ron Paul’s problems is his style of delivery. He comes across as a ranting old uncle. That may seem like a superficial way of seeing things, but in the real world image and optics count

He was deemed a traitor by many here on the FR.

Some here did predict that it would end up a disaster. Anyone who ever read a history book could have figured it out.

I want the list of every military contractor and political hack who made 'speeches' in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.... and how much they were paid to keep America in this God Awful Disaster....

You only need to go back and read some of the threads from those days and you will see the blood lust in the country. People around here couldn’t wait to go in and get at Saddam.

It was a mistake then. And now these guys are confirming what a waste of time it was.

I don't think Ron Paul was ignored. I thought that at times he ran has presidential campaign not to win, but to make a point. What a shame. He and others who go third party should know by now that nothing sways the Deep State Illuminati from their goals.

I wish Rand Paul hadn't messed up his campaign for President. Instead of expressing negatives toward President Trump, he should've been a ally. I just hope now (President Trump sounds like he's taking charge of the mess he created by not standing up to Chuck, Nancy, and the Masters of War) that Rand Paul has his ear.
