Federal investigators probing Roger Stone, the former Trump campaign official indicted last week in the Russia probe, have seized multiple hard drives containing years of communication records from cellphones and email accounts, the special counsel's office said Thursday.
Robert Mueller's prosecutors, in a new court filing, described the evidence as "voluminous and complex" in asking a judge to delay his trial to give them more time to sift through the seized devices.
The court papers said investigators grabbed hard drives containing several terabytes of information, including "FBI case reports, search warrant applications and results (e.g., Apple iCloud accounts and email accounts), bank and financial records, and the contents of numerous physical devices (e.g., cellular phones, computers, and hard drives)."
The FBI is doing what it calls a "filter review" of the devices, setting aside any evidence that cannot be admissible in court because it is considered privileged.
During a press conference Thursday, Stone agreed that evidence is voluminous and complex, and said both parties had agreed to the language in the government's filing.

What? I don't remember Stone ever actually being with the campaign. Was he? What did he do on it?
Whatever evidence Hillary's crew did NOT destroy, Comey's crew destroyed out of courtesy.
America's Deep State enemies can always be counted on to work as a team against our interests. Comey disgusts me.
Bunch of crooks. We need to kick em out of states.
There are several reports that FEC filings confirm Roger Stone was paid by the Trump campaign until around August 2015, almost a year before Trump won the nomination.
Roger Stone and Paul Manafort lobbied in behalf of Trump’s casino businesses since the ‘90s.
I wonder if this “evidence” was as “voluminous and complex” as the pile of CDs (2 TB worth, IIRC) of web dumps IN RUSSIAN (untranslated, and probably never read) that the Mueller team gave the judge when the indicted Russian firm decided to defend itself, hired a US law firm, and said, “We want a speedy trial, please forward the evidence.”
Speaking of which, what happened to that case?
HIS NAME WAS ____ ____
There was a filing in Concord case a couple days ago when Mule teamed that “Russia” had co-opted their prior filings and dumped on Internet ROFL ;)
Trump announced his candidacy in July 2015, so then Stone worked for the campaign for the first month of the campaign only? Of course, we all know that Putin could tell Trump was going to win and hence used that first month to buy him off through Roger Stone, I suppose.
In the news today, Mueller is claiming that the Russians modified the evidence. In other words, he's got nothing and he's making excuses.
It seems that Stone never heard of the need for indictables to do timely and thorough “spring cleaning.”
The Trump ‘exploratory committee’ for president was formed in March 2015. Stone left in Jul/Aug, so he worked for the campaign about four months.
Well, that does it. “Voluminous and complex” means another two years of investigation.
The FBI is mining campaign info for the Left.
This is 3rd world crap. Arrest a person, and then find the evidence.
What a load of crap. Every American ought to be outraged at this treatment.
These governmental fascists are getting very tiresome.
Maybe they’ll find if/where Hoffa is buried. </snark>
Come to think of it, more chance of finding out, if they checked Herr Muëller’s files!
Stalling for time. It took them what, a week, to review thousands of emails on Weiner’s laptop?
Your statement obviously correct and 70% don’t care too sad.
This is just an excuse to drag the investigation to right before the election
