SEN. RAND PAUL TO UNDERGO HERNIA SURGERY IN CANADA AFTER ATTACK BY NEIGHBOR
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why would a US Senator, or anyone, go to Canada for any medical procedure? Does he think his hometown hospital is not good enough?
Wait until the Kentucky jurors get the Covington Catholic High School case.....
Bingo!!!!
Wow, people are already piling on to discredit and dismiss a big win for Paul. And they do it with zero hesitation.
Amazing...
I dont understand the $7834 in medical costs. Just a trip to the ER will cost that much alone. Then he had surgery. I would estimate his medical costs to be $78,000. Or more.
Did he move? If so where? Street address and times when he’s home appreciated.
There was a thread about this a week or so back. He went to Canada because a good friend of his is a doctor there. And the hospital specializes in what Senator Paul needed.
And he will never be able to collect.
And he will never collect. Doubt me? Then you have never gotten a judicial judgement.
It still looks bad that a US Senator goes to a foreign country for his medical needs.
Probably out of pocket costs. It would be his insurance company that would have to sue to get their expenditure recovered.
How much did the “lawyah” get?
The only way this nonsense is going to stop is civil court.
Rand Paul has pointed the way.
“I still looks bad that a US Senator goes to a foreign country for his medical needs.”
Bad for who?
Courts can put caveats on how to get the money. Not sure if it did or not.
Only if you dont listen to the reasons why.
“30 days? The guy shouldve spent at least a year in the slammer.”
Absolutely.
Me too, but there were people here who expressed sympathy for the neighbor, when the attack happened.
Does bankruptcy negate the results of a lawsuit like this? I am not so sure.
Only if you dont listen to the reasons why.
Are you saying that US doctors can’t fix a hernia????
I remember OJ filed bankruptcy and the Goldmans never saw a dime of the judgement!! Why would this be different??
