Global warming has corrupted the structural integrity of the polar vortex. When they put it all sciency like that, it must be true. I bet Mr. Spock would even say “interesting”.
The Maunder minimum 1645 to 1715 was smack dab in the middle of the coldest years of the Little Ice Age 1500–1850, was that caused by Anthropogenic Global Warming too.
The Thames river froze over every winter. Do we want to relive that? I guess we do so let’s cut back on the carbon economy.
Solar activity and shifting earth magnetic polar fields has nothing to do with this because us earthlings can’t change that.

Not that new. In 1919 the astronomer Eddington claimed he had verified Einstein's prediction of the bending of light by gravity, by observing light bent by the sun.
A later investigation revealed that he had published only the 15% of his observations that matched the prediction, and had left out the 85% that did not.
By a strange coincidence, the observations he published had been made with a 4 inch telescope, which simple calculation shows could not deliver the accuracy he claimed. The 10 inch telescope results he omitted had confirmed Newton's calculations.
This wobbling is not unusual when the geographic north pole aligns with the magnetic north pole. The dynamo effect decreases and creates the movement in the polar vortex..
Can’t they ever present a science video without all the jazzy cutesy narration and cartoony graphics? I guess it shows the assessment of the average idiot out there. They think we can’t grasp scientific or technical concepts without a circus production. Anyway some of the cold records back east will be broken that were set back in 1899. Don’t give me this climate change global warming crap. I don’t think mankind (yes I said MANkind) is powerful enough to change the weather......yet.

Yep, heard a “weatherman” on the radio this morning explaining the reason it is so cold today is because Alaska is too warm. The Left never misses an opportunity to advance their agenda.
According to this theory, we (us mainland) should have our coldest weather in the spring or summer rather than the winter, since the the seasonal warming of the northern hemisphere could cause the coldest air to break from the poles.
The people making this claim need to go back and study Rossby and others on the real causes of arctic outbreaks.
The people spewing this propagandized garbage need to be sent back high school science class that teaches classical education.
The phenomenon is an ordinary arctic air trough that seems wider but not deeper than others.
As a Minnesotan, I can attest to the fact that this isn't all that unusual.
Personally, I gun the engine on my pickup at stoplights just to chip in to global warming.
Gas is a lot cheaper under Trump, don'cha know.
