More than a year after the bureau began digging into the slaughter of 58 people -- and the wounding of scores of others -- at a Las Vegas country concert, the FBI said Tuesday it hadn't concluded anything more about Stephen Paddock's mysterious motive for the attack than it had the day after the shooting stopped.
The FBI's conclusions on the mass murder, which Paddock undertook from a sniper's perch in the Mandalay Resort and Casino in October 2017, were unveiled Tuesday by the Associated Press. The attack at the Route 91 Harvest Festival was the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
Most of what the FBI concluded has long been known. Paddock acted alone when he planned and carried out the attack, Aaron Rouse, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Las Vegas office, said. The 64-year-old fatally shot himself as police arrived into his hotel suite.

as a gun runner, there is no mystery,
just a mystery as to why another coverup
is thrust upon the voters.

Yeah, it’s a good thing he’s dead, or he’d be set free for some technicality, if not actually found innocent at trial.

When this story broke I figured, given that it was a Vegas hotel, we’d have video of this guy coming, going and maybe even doing the shooting. I haven’t seen any video. Period. Very strange.

Another extremely obvious cover-up by the FBI.
The FBI is more secretive than the CIA. Remember the upstate NY limo crash that killed all 17 or so occupants 3 months ago? well, the owner of the company was an FBI informant. Guess what, not a single agency has been allowed to inspect the car, not the NTSB, not the police, not the lawyers.
But did he have intent?
The FBI are too busy rooting through the garbage at each Trump associate’s house to be bothered with actually investigating crimes.
The government often keeps things from the public.
During the Indian Wars, after the Fetterman massacre in 1866. the report on what they found there was not released to the public for almost twenty years.
I know I’m gonna get jumped on for saying this but...
I think the guy was just a titanic aging loser and couldn’t think of a better way to leave a legacy than to commit the biggest gun massacre in American history.
After all, that’s been the motivation for a lot of these crimes, although the perps have usually been much younger.
If he has any connection to the government I really believe it’s incidental and serves only to feed conspiracy theories.
A lot of times the simplest, most direct explanation is the closest to the truth but something in the human mind fights against that.
