They get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars just to make things up. Scientists need to get out of the prediction business.

Equally, man made CO2 may have absolutely nothing to
do with climate change, and in fact abandoning the use of
so called fossil fuels may make surviving any coming
climate differences impossible.

“many thousands of years”
That’s a lot longer than 12 years, but the world didn’t, like, end and stuff.

It can start warming up any day now...

"We found evidence for a feedback that occurs with rapid warming that can release even more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere," said Shelby Lyons, a doctoral student in geosciences at Penn State. " well if it comes from a student indoctrinated in the Global Warming BS, then we must believe him! Wonder if it was due to a Ted Nugent feedback that is causing this current global warming hitting is now. The Stranglehold Midwest Freeze of Global warming.

he Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum (PETM), which is considered the best analogue for modern climate change. An analogue, I think not. The entire premise of today's climate change is that the climate is being changed by the actions of humans. Without evil humans, the climate would be benign and whoever might inherit the Earth will enjoy a never ending paradise. But the climate change of the PETM could not have been caused by humans, it was a completely nature event. They have been trapped by their ever desperate illogical dogma.

Any climate researchers working for our government need to be privatized and paid by their prediction
results.
Climatologist predictions of the number of hurricanes and major hurricanes in the North Atlantic have been plus or minus 20% or more on average each year.
But take a look at the 2013 North American hurricane predictions.
The NOAA scientists predicted 3 to 6 major hurricanes. Actual number was 0 (zero!).
They also predicted 7 to 11 regular hurricanes, and there were only 2.
These are the people who are telling us the Earth will be warmer by one degree 100 years from now.
Meanwhile they were dead wrong at predicting basic stuff 6 months in advance. They don't have a clue!

Hey Sunken Civ. That’s a cool GIF there. Did you create that? How was it done?
To: centurion316
Exactly. There is no analog because there is no warming and previous warming was before technology.

They must have been big cars, so one can imagine the pollution was even worse. That, and those darn brachiosaurus always hogging the road. Terrible drivers.

I for one, am abundantly terrified.

A rapid rise in temperature on ancient Earth triggered a climate response that may have prolonged the warming for many thousands of years, according to scientists. You can STOP reading now.
