On the subject of contract law, didn’t they seize or nationalize some of our oil company assets? Is that why we no longer would make loans? I don’t really know the answer, but this is surfacing in my 80 year old mind.

I'm not sure about the loan end of it, but Venezuela did seize some of our oil company's assets.
