My sense is we should not "laugh away" any Democrat contender as that is precisely what the leftwingers did about President Trump.

They all must be treated seriously, especially as we learn of more and more fraudulent voters being imported into otherwise "red" states in which we previously considered a lock.

If Zimmerman, Ferguson, Baltimore, Coventry and all the rest have taught us anything it is that the Democrat party is now immune from criticism because of the issue of race. Conversely, the Republican Party is by definition racist and virtually every elected Republican and every Republican pundit are terrified of the charge no matter how undeserved. There simply is no solace or refuge anywhere where the numbers count in the media.

The scenario I see runs something like this: Constitution loving conservative Republicans raise the issue of Kamela Harris' constitutional qualification to stand for the office. Republican Senators, you can name them off the top of your head e.g. Lindsay Graham, Marco Rubio, Mitt Romney etc. rush to the microphones to declare that, although they do not support her politics she is qualified to run for president and to hold otherwise is racist.

Thus, there will be no Republican elected official leading the charge to disqualify-just as occurred with Barack Obama. So, constitutionally minded conservatives will turn to the courts. We saw how that worked out against Barack Obama; no one could get standing. Try your luck in the Ninth Circuit, that is where Harris is located. That circuit is as likely to issue a court order disqualifying the Republican as to deal honestly with the issue.

This is not as I want it to be, this is how I see it will be. I dearly hope it turns out otherwise.

I entirely agree with your warning.

Consider the mindset of the Democrat party today, it closely resembles the converse image of the Republican party when it was chanting, "lock her up." The Democrats are in a mood to scorch the earth and Kamala Harris is just the kind of candidate who can convince the party that she will lock up Donald Trump.

She is a very dangerous opponent and she is ruthless.
