...it is a very close call whether he has the votes to defy any federal court that decides to disagree.

What votes? This isn't up for a vote.

If the President can't stand before the people and assert his plain authority under statute law and the Constitution, the republic is no more.

He (and we) can't MAGA if he's going to bend his knee to the courts every time some lower court judge gets his panties in a bunch.

He (and we) had better start fighting back for real, or quit pretending like we're a free and sovereign people living under a binding constitution.

If we're unwilling to stand up for our country, we need to shut the hell up, bow our cowardly heads, and allow the victors to remake America into whatever kind of country they choose.

Was trying to be succinct and expected you would understand - but if Trump doesn't cave it most certainly will be up for a vote.

We should expect the House will continue with impeachment if Trump continues with the wall. The question of whether he remains in office will turn on the votes thereafter to Convict in the Senate by a) Senate Democrats, b) the Senate Rino's and c) Senate R's that might go wobbly at the last minute after assuring him they had his back.

What's worse, if the socialist dems think they already have the votes, they may not even bother going to court.

As it is now, he goes to bed every night wondering whether they will throw him out of office for providing adequate national security.
