I suppose retreat and surrender are tactics.
They just don’t really get you anything.
Napoleon used tactics at Waterloo.
In high school football this is known as the inside trap play.
In 3 weeks he gets the wall or uses an emergency declaration....the rest of this caterwauling is nonsense.
From the article:
This is a good move on his part. He has not capitulated on the wall...when youve got a Senate that has people that got elected to do nothing as Republicans except make Trumps life miserable, its a tough area to navigate.
This from a R senator who is well regarded on FR. He is calling out the RINO's and at the same time giving folks an idea of Trump's uphill battle. He is literally surrounded by treachery coming from his own camp.
This is about national security and every real American should be proud of Trump's will power and supportive of his efforts.
"Trump's problem is having to deal with people like Pelosi and Schumer, party leaders who are more concerned
with political victories than about protecting the country. And a Senate w/ people that got elected to do nothing as
Republicans except make Trumps life miserable. Its a tough area to navigate.
Rope-a-dope?
Just like football. If we throw an interception and they score then maybe we can score later.
Gohmert should be AG.
Screw the 15 round fight K.O. that beotch with an executive order or go home.
The President will get the wall he wants because it is also what the American people want - especially ME!!!
IMO, He is setting the stage, doing the ground work necessary to call an emergency which requires winning some court battles. He knows exactly what to do.
Isn’t one of Alinsky’s rules to abandon tactics that aren’t working?
Trump brilliance. In three weeks he gets his wall and the Democrats are totally exposed as childish petulant spoiled brats. He kills 2 birds with one stone.
