Democrats naturally are gloating, calling it a surrender and admonishing Trump to “learn his lesson” and acknowledge his defeat by the wise and all-knowing Nancy Pelosi. This certainly gives them a sugar high while providing evidence for future use that their priority is humiliating Trump rather than attending to the needs of border security.
Nonetheless, as President Trump correctly noted in the Rose Garden address, it was an “agreement.” The Dems agreed to procedural rules that can be used to make the case for border barrier construction. The deal will be hashed out in the conference committee, which will then submit the same legislation to both Houses of Congress, with the 21-day clock ticking. Either chamber can modify the legislation, but that happens under the gun of the ticking clock.

80%+ of the federal government is unconstitutional. KEEP THE GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN (except for the 20%- constitutional part). Best thing that could ever happen to us. The Liars in the media try to spin how bad it is for us to have the government shut down. But they, of course, are liars.
Among many other things, the unconstitutional $3+ trillion portion of the feds continually drives up a relentless hidden tax: INFLATION. Keep this sucker shut down, and we will enjoy the greatest economic boom America has ever seen.
FREEDOM creates wealth (in the free market).
GOVERNMENT creates poverty (takes people’s money and drives inflation).
And oh BTW, in case you’re wondering, illegal immigration and immigration of our enemies IS INVASION!
So STOP the invasion AND KEEP the unconstitutional 80%+ portion of the feds SHUT DOWN.

Supposedly there were a number ‘rats in the House and Senate who were willing to negotiate for a settlement including money for a wall, but they couldn’t get by Pelosi and Schumer - they hope that in three weeks with the government open and talks ongoing they’ll be able to get the leadership to come to some sort of compromise - personally I think Trump should have demanded some sort of open demonstration of these “rebels’” good faith - a group of them speaking out in opposition to Nanny no and Shoe perhaps - to make sure he isn’t being rolled - we’ll see......
I’m more worried about what Romney is going to demand from Trump.

Pray, by all means. Hope, no; action instead. Communists in the Fake Congress need to be hounded with phone calls, e-mails, up front and personal confrontations. If that fails, and they won’t do the will of the people, then We the people must do it ourself.

Yeah, good point - with six Republicans deserting the fight and siding with the ‘rat senators in the test vote, it sure looks like as usual those who should be supporting Trump could do more to undermine him than the supposed enemy....
